Montreal Day 1
October 18, 2008 - I landed in Montreal about 1:15 local time.
Since then I've eaten Lebanese food, had a Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich from Schwartz, and found the best Spruce Beer I've had since I was 9.
But the most impactful thing I've experienced today is not to do with food.
tonight was the second last night of the Festival du nouveau cinema here in Montreal.
We went and saw RIP : Remix Manifesto
This movie has encapsulated everything that has concerned me about bill C-61 that the Canadian Government introduced earlier this year. What it did was make the entire issue accessible and easy to understand for someone who isn't familiar with the issue.
