23 Dec 2006 - Viscera wins games.

Here is a Viscera deck that Ive been playing with for quite a while. Its done very well in tournys pre-Revolution. An earlier version of it was played by my friend Sam Stanton at the NYCQ this year, making the cut at 4-2, beating the top seated deck (a 6-0 Shane O&undefined;Mac) in the top 32. This updated version should hopefully be no different, but Id still like some feedback. All cards are Throwback versions unless stated otherwise.

Basic prematch is Boston; William Regal; Size Matters; Underrated; No Show(for Thunder Bulldog and Anything and Hate It, switching out for Givin&undefined; &undefined;em High Fives). Improvise with others depending on the match. Youll always want to drop the WWE Championship against Legends, as it gets you Maneuver of Doom, which avoids Jimmy Hart and gets you on the board so you can run through it later.

Midmatch is standard, running Tomfoolery as a Grapple incase no maneuvers are draw in the first turn. Goodnight, Everybody! is there for sponge decks.

The rest of the deck should be pretty obvious. Its just ground and pound. It avoids the use of Sustain Damage by the opponent through constant plunging, so a minimal ammount of moves is enough to pin them. The only bad match the deck has seen thus far is Piper. His ability shuts down the entire strategy, so its manditory to get on the board fast. Otherwise, you should scoop up by the end of your third turn. Andre gives the deck some problems, but its managed to beat him every time.

Well, thats pretty much it. Thanks for looking. I look forward to ratings and comments.

I had a deck with some Irish Whips followed up by some Atomic Back Body Drops

Sounds interesting. I had some limited success with a "That's Value" Viscera deck with a Lock,Stock & Barrell win condition (as springboard can be put under That's value). I don't think it was high quality, but it was fun to play.

If you're worried about legends A Phoenix rising or two in your backlash deck will help.
