TCO: Ric, thanks for taking the time to sit down with us today. I really appriciate it. For those readers, who do not know you, or how you came to compete for this year`s world championship, tells us your story.

MediumSexy: I started playing Raw Deal about 3 years ago. Guy named Jason Hathaway talked me into buying it for my store. 2 weeks after I got the product in stock, I sold my first starter, picked up an Edge deck for myself, and haven`t looked back since. In my first two ranked tourneys (MegaCon in Orlando a few years back, I made 2nd place against Mike Drigants in the first, (then ranked #4 in the World), and took down Wess Victory (then ranked #2) on the first turn of the finals. (Missed the cut on diversity the next day playing my Rikishi deck!)

TCO: We are now just two weeks before the World Championships, do you know who you are going to use?

MediumSexy: Yes. Diversity be damned. As usual, I`ll be playing the superstars that I think best for the whole format and attempting to go with the best record. Wanna know who I`m playing, pm me on my site`s forums: rawdealplanet.com/forums (Cheap Pop!)

TCO: What decks do you feel are your biggest threat?

MediumSexy: Andre the Giant & Batista

TCO: Has the late announcement of the formats for the worlds impacted your preparation at all?

MediumSexy: Not really.

TCO: Raw Deal seems to be becoming more political over the last year. Has this impacted you at all, do you see this impacting you at all?

MediumSexy: No. Game/card shops seem to be dying left and right, though. I hope Raw Deal goes more "mainstream" (Wal-Mart, Books-A-Million, etc.) soon, so the game can get back towards the top.

TCO: What are your feelings on Revolution?

MediumSexy: I don`t own any, except for one of the belts. I feel that Revolution is a great way to get new players in on the game -- teaching them rules, mechanics and such -- but Raw Deal Classic is my prefferred cardboard crack of choice. Many problems with Raw Deal could have been fixed without "Revolution".

TCO: The Mark Laroche Xperience – a great party, or the greatest party?

MediumSexy: Ask me after April 2nd, if I can remember, I`ll let you know...

TCO: Besides yourself, is there someone that you’re cheering for this year at the World Championships?

MediumSexy: The winner of the Last Chance Qualifier, if said winner`s name is: Robert Miller, Nate Weiss, or Darren Patching

TCO: What are your plans for the future?

MediumSexy: Dunno, really.

TCO: Which is better, Cake or Pie?

MediumSexy: Ice Cream

TCO: Will the Saints make it to the Superbowl next year?

MediumSexy: My two favorite teams are:
The Dallas Cowboys, and
Whoever`s playing against the Saints. (j/k, but I AM a really big Cowboys fan, grew up in LaGrange, Texas - same town as the Z.Z. Top song)
