This is the last wave of non-Superstar-specific cards for the set, and includes the 2 Factions - the first non-Revolution Faction cards, so Classic players don't miss out.  Smiley

To answer the inevitable question, The Heenan Family's effect just works like an RMS, but only on your opponent's card effects.  You can still be prevented from playing reversals with cards like Dirty Low Blow, Clutch, Diversion + move, etc.

Also, with the new Backstage Cards, remember to always check the text at the top of the card... as noted in the Sneak Preview, some of them work differently than traditional BSCs.

I can't wait to make my Miz Morrison members of Money Inc.  Are there any plans of making a non-revolution card similar to You're Drafted for classic format?

It wouldn't matter anyway, all of the SNME Faction cards reference being PRINTED on the Faction.  Using <R> You're Drafted doesn't change anything.  (As intended by design)

Missed that, thanks.  I always thought You're Drafted was silly anyway.  Revo 3 was very hard as a player because of that dang card....

Heh. I as about to ask why Money Inc didn't get to be a member of the Million Dollar Corp, then I realized they would end up with huuuuge F discounts, and that would be wrong.

Also, I kind of love The Beast Money Can Buy. That's some power in that card.

It had less to do with balance (accident side effect, heh) and more to do with Money Inc not being active during the Million Dollar Corporation days.  At that point, DiBiase wasn't actively wrestling, he was just a manager and IRS was in the Stable.  However, like Heenan, the manager gets a logo on the card as well.  Smiley

But it IS one of the things we wanted in design, to keep Money Inc from being a bland Two Man Power Trip or DX kind of thing, where you just play both people's cards, so why bother playing IRS?  lol  Now you have:

IRS:  Backlash support, M$Corp support
Money Inc:  Tag Team support, Legend support

Variety ftw.  Smiley

K.  May be a silly question, but is a superstar ability considered a "card effect" for The Heenan Family?  Example: when The Heenan Family is in my ring area, do my unique reversals deal damage to Batista or The Natural Disasters?  The only reason I have to ask is that I know that superstar cards get a lot of immunities and special rulings and i'd like to know for the future.  Thanks.

An Ability is never considered a 'card effect', that's why guys like Matt Hardy don't care about Hell in a Cell Match, since their Ability isn't a 'card effect' and they can still recover.  Or why BFM isn't hosed by It's Great to be Back Here In... heh

So you would have to say 'your opponent's Ability or card effect' to block something like that, but we were specific about NOT doing that.  Only your opponent's CARDS are prevented from affecting your reversals.

Am I correct in thinking that because of their superstar card text, neither Mr Perfect nor the Brain Busters need to pack the faction to play Heenan Family cards?

You are correct.  Add Brain Busters to that list as well.  Smiley

You join most factions, but Family is another matter... lol

I could be wrong, but doesn't the Brain Busters Heenan Family card need the words "When played" somewhere in the last paragraph?

Also, I spy "then, then" on The Brains of the Family Smiley

Is it possible to play more than 1 faction pre-match card if you have the available slots?

Sure, you can play as many as you want, that's why the Faction Allegiance restricts you to just one.

Adding "When played," to Thinking One Step Ahead is probably a good idea for clarity, but it's not -strictly- necessary; Fortitude reductions implicitly occur when played, since special text is only active when overturned when it says that it is.

Yes, Doink can pack Tag Team Shenanigans for no effect other than putting a card in his Backstage.

My question is, what superstars are allowed to properly utilize the Tag Team Shenanigans card? I realize that the Hart Foundation and the Rockers can actually use it because it gives them a couple of more options with their abilites. But, who beyond them IS ALLOWED to properly utilize the card?

All Tag Team Shenanigans does is solve the rules questions behind playing the tag cards that The Rockers, Demolition, and The Hart Foundation can pack.  Anyone else that packs it...well its a backstage card in your Backstage Area so guys like Doink and Money Inc like it. But the actual text does not affect you unless you play Tag logo cards or cards that deal with switching the active player (ex: Missile Dropkick TB as a maneuver).

For The Beast Money Can Buy, is the attached ACE an immediate effect, or can it be activated anytime. I ask because I am confused by the wording

It can be activated anytime that the card is in play. Otherwise, it wouldn't be an ACE!

Are Heenan, Andre, or 8th Wonder Heenan Family members with out playing the faction card?

Not sure about Andre and 8th Wonder, but I know that Heenan is part of the Family w/o the faction via his new Superstar-Specific enforcer card

Anyone who is a Heenan Family Member naturally can use all of the Heenan Family stuff without dropping the Faction, and they still get the "if your logo is on The Heenan Family" effects since that effect doesn't say that it relies on having the Family in the Ring.

So I imagine that Money Inc will not get a bonus for the Million Dollar Corporation, just the individual members will, right?

Correct.  Money Inc predates the M$Corp, they were never part as such.
