First off, I'm loving the new raw deal concept. It makes it a lot easier to just "start fresh" and pay around $50 for a full set of cards to be printed than to try and hunt down the cards I would need to be competitive in Classic Raw Deal.

I see that the latest New Raw Deal set printed in May of this year had a lot of good additions to the backbone of the game itself and ability to diversify decks. And I understand the reasons for why there wasn't a lot of new superstars printed.

But I can't help but ask, due to my excitement for this product, when do the developers plan to release more modern superstars?

I don't care too much about having additional superstar specific support for existing superstars. But I would like to see guys like Sheamus, Big Show, The Miz, Cody Rhodes, R Truth, Alberto Del Rio, Jack Swagger and Mark Henry.

But beyond what my personal wishes are, I'm just mostly curious as to when we should expect a new set to be in the works. I might be overly optimistic considering there was 2 years in between the first set and the second set, but like I said, that's possibly just due to my own over excitement for just joining New Raw Deal.

Thanks for the interest and the kind words.

We've been trying to release the sets (approximately) six months apart.  NRD1 was released in mid 2009, NRD2-1 in early 2010, NRD2-2 in mid 2010 and NRD2-3 in early 2011.

Assuming we can keep up the pace, you can expect NRD2-4 to be released in mid-to-late 2011.  There's a bit of a delay as we're doing a full review and applying errata to a number of previously released cards, so late 2011 may be a bit more likely.

NRD2-4 will be exclusively new characters and their superstar specifics, but you'll have to wait to see which ones are included!
