Welcome to the Detroit Lions' Bandwagon!

Please proudly pledge your allegiance to the Lions!

I am driving this bandwagon, and you are all welcome to jump aboard as the year progresses.  They may not be everyone's favorite team, but I think they will turn lots of heads this year.

I would love to see this team beat the Vikings in their division, and be a contender for the wildcard this year. 
I just bought a Lions shirt this weekend.  They are hard to find around here because they have been so bad for so long.  I really hope this changes this year. 

The current date is 9/4/2011.  I hope I'm not eating my words in December!

This is a LIONS Bandwagon...

The cowboys and bears have lots of fans already, as do many teams.  I am a bears fan.  This thread is for people to stand up proudly for the Detroit Lions, at team that was the worst in the league 2 years ago.  Do you have the guts to stand with me and support this team in their definitive year?

The Lions are not in my top 4 favorite teams, but I do pull for them to be respectable again. They are one of 4Teams that have never made the Superbowl. Texans, Jaguars, Browns ate the others.

Then at the very least teams have to take them seriously, because their offense is loaded and their defensive line is gonna make other QBs hear footsteps. Hopefully Stafford worked on his conditioning so he can play a full season.

And to me that defines "respectability". That other teams have to take notice and not treat you lightly.

I find it funny that a lot of people out there still think they are garbage. I knew they would be pretty good last year. Heck they probably should have been better last year. Week one anyone remember that? And even though Stafford went down Shawn Hill stepped up big time and even the 3rd string QB played well (beat GB and should have beat the Bears). I think a lot of teams took them lightly last year, which I think is even more dumbfounding then fans still thinking they suck. They are a good team but this year they have to play with everyone else knowing how good they are and for the first time in forever they are playing with expectations of being a good team. Looking at their schedule I see them being a 7-9 win team.

That's what I'm hoping for.  I think that the Packers will probably win the division (I Wish it was the Bears) and the lions will be in contention for the wild card.
