Has anyone here played Horrorclix? Personally, I love the game. I own almost all of the figures. And who wouldn't love a game where you can pit vampires, ghosts, zombies, evil clowns, werewolves, and more against each other!! Also, with the added additions of some famous ones (Freddy vs Jason set, the three Aliens vs Predator sets, and the Hellboy set), and a ton of different maps to play on, and different scenarios to play with, this is one hell of a good time!!

What is the cost? This has been the biggest deterent for me for any miniature game. If they have starter decks, maybe I'd pick one up because it does sound fun, but I can't afford to get hooked haha.

That's one great thing about it! You can find the miniatures all the time on eBay, and most of them are very cheap! You can find starter boxes for around $5-7. You can also buy bricks (12 boosters, 4 minis, a plot twist, and victim token in each one) cheap as well. And people are constantly selling lots of them! The Freddy vs Jason set and Hellboy set you can find online for around $8-10 as well! The Alien Queen set (includes an awesome Alien queen replica, map, and an extra Alien and Predator) can also be found cheap. I found mine on Amazon for $10! The only sets that are really expensive are the Aliens set, and Predator set! Otherwise, you can get away without spending a lot of money, and get yourself several maps, tons of figures and plot twist cards! To find out more (especially a ton of custom scenarios, three of which I created!) you can hit up www.horrorclix.net

It's a great game to get into, and my wife, brother, friends and I have a blast with it!!!

By the way, each starter comes with a map (most are two-sided), some figures, some extra pieces, plot twist cards, the monster cards, and instructions!

I own Cthulhu and a couple of other Horrorclix, but never played. Had to get the Cthulhu because well... it was epic.

Yeah, the Great Cthulhu is one of the only ones I don't have yet. I'll get him soon though! Can't wait. I have his little sibling, the Avatar of Cthulhu, but not quite the same....lol
