Ok, with the new PPV coming up, what predictions, if any do you guys and gals have?

Air Boom vs Swagger & Ziggler: On one hand, I'd like to see Air Boom retain the titles to continue giving the belts some much needed legitimacy (something the Tag Titles have not had in a LONG time). On the other, a good chase for the title couldn't hurt either. I see Swagger & Ziggler stealing the titles from AB, putting them into full chase mode. I also see it causing a rift between Swag and Zig that will culminate at Wrestlemania next year.

Randy Orton vs Cody Rhodes: There's a theme that needs to go with this PPV, and it's HEEL, HEEL, HEEL... Orton is so over and established, I think this needs to be the match that tries to elevate Rhodes, so I believe (and hope) that Rhodes not only wins, I'd like it to be pretty decisive. I doubt WWE will let that happen, but I think now is a good as time as any to put some real heat on Rhodes and give him a real push. I'd love to see a BIG beatdown from Rhodes on Orton after the match. But again... doubtful.

HHH & CM Punk vs The Miz and Truth: If there is ANY hope of catapulting M & T back into the main event picture, this needs to be the time. There was a moment or two there, where I thought these two could really be getting nasty and forming a faction somewhat akin to the NWO. But, as per WWE nature, they've been on the receiving end of the short end of the stick. I think it will be a hot match, with the crowd really into it. Again, some of this is hope mind you. On one side, you have two superstars that are WAY over with the fans. This match needs to bring some serious heat back to the heels. So, I believe that it will have a screwy ending where Kevin Nash reappears, and helps take out the Face team. I think the match will end in a DQ victory for HHH & Punk, but that they will have the crap beat out of them by the new upcoming faction in WWE, led by Nash.

Beth vs Eve: Women's championship on the line. I just don't care. WWE obviously doesn't care, so why should I. I don't think this division will even be halfway watchable or bearable until Kharma returns. And even then, it's a long shot. WWE doesn't bother putting care into the Diva division, so I won't bother making a prediction, other than this is the perfect time to grab a smoke, snacks, bathroom break, whatever. Watching water drip from the faucet would be more entertaining.

Alberto Del Rio vs Super Cena: Look... I don't have the same major problem with Cena as everyone else. I mean, I like the guy. That said, I am NOT rooting for him at all. I'm tired of the same old same old with him, where he NEVER appears in serious danger of losing a match. The only time he actually started to really show signs of life lately and had a great program was with Punk. They had some great moments and solid matches! Unfortunately, that didn't last long enough, and then it was right back to Cena the Invincible! The ONLY way, Del Rio is ever going to be taken seriously is with a BIG BIG win here. The thing that worries me, is that Cena is Mr. Never Say Die, Never Surrender. With this being a Last Man Standing Match, I think the only way Rio would get the win is through some major cheating. I think that's the wrong move. I'd like to see Del Rio and Cena beat each other to a pulp, where both men are so exhausted, until finally, Del Rio locks on a solid submission hold and actually has Cena pass out. My prediction is that Cena puts on the cape, and takes back the title he doesn't seem to even really care about as he heads into his upcoming program with the Rock. Rock-Cena with the WWE title in between is probably too tempting for WWE to pass up. So that's my prediction. I just hope I'm wrong!

Mark Henry vs Big Show: This will NOT be a pretty match. Two guys this size will not be able to put on a "wrestling" match. This needs to be a full on FIGHT. And I hope, WWE keeps the trend going with Henry. I'd like to see him actually maybe put Show through a table, and beat the hell out of him, maybe even with the stairs. Just make it nasty. Henry NEEDS to retain not only the title, but his "monster" status. So I go with Henry to go over clean, and then inflict major punishment afterward.

In all honesty, this is a PPV, where EVERY heel needs to come out on top, and shine. There needs to be beat downs afterward. There needs to be full on assaults. This is the time to really start elevating guys, and put the faces on the run.

Swaggler over Air Boom
Orton over Rhodes
Zack Ryder over Ziggler (This gets announced on Smackdown tonight. Ziggler has to wrestle twice in one night and will lose the US Title after winning the Tag belts with Swagger imo.)
The Miz and R-Truth over CM Punk and Triple H
Mark Henry over The Big Show
Beth over Eve
Juan Bradshaw Layfield over Super Cena

Creed's idiocy and lack of reading skills aside, it's what Barone says.

Ziggler vs. Zack Ryder. Who does Ryder think he is? A "Bro" in a mans ring? This one is easily a no contest and probably the easiest prediciton of the night. The Perfection continues and Ziggler puts Ryder to sleep to retain the U.S. Championship. Ziggler by Submission.

Air Boom vs. Swaggler. Evan Bourne has been sidelined too long for their cohesion as a tag team to resurface. Swaggler win this one handily, possibly with help from the biggest factor in the match, Vickie. Swaggler by Pin Fall.

Henry vs. Big Show. This one is a tough one. Both are big men with anger issues. Big Show definitely has the size advantage over Henry, but Henry has been on such a induction role to the Hall of Pain, I just can't see him losing. I think Big Show wins via DQ and Henry cements Big Shows' legacy in the Hall of Pain.

Orton vs. Rhodes. Rhodes has made a big mistake choosing to exercise his demons with Randy. If the beating Rhodes and his baggers received on Smackdown is any indication of whats to come this Sunday, Rhodes might just want to cancel his flight and stay home. Orton by Pin Fall.

Hunter & CM Punk vs. Awesome Truth. This will be a pretty solid match-up. A good match all around most likely, with Awesome truth coming out on top. They have done nothing but pummel Punk for the past couple weeks, I don't know if Punks body will be ready to sustain another beatdown. CM Punk and HHH lose, but not without some questionable tactics by Awesome Truth, Pin Fall.

Eve vs. Beth Pheonix. Beth is a far superior wrestler than Eve will ever be. Eve can claim she is not a Barbie Doll, but Beth will sure throw her around like one. Beth by Pin Fall.

John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio. Cena never gives up and never quits, I can't see him starting now. Cena over Del Rio to become the 13-time, WWE Champion.

(Actually predictions: Dell Rio over Cena, Eve over Beth, Awesome Truth over Punk/HHH, Henry over Big Show, Swaggler over Air Boom, Ryder over Ziggler, Orton over Rhodes.)
