What is your favourite song?

I'm a pretty big music fan and have recently been thinking about favourite albums and songs and even favourite songs by artists. This seems to be the hardest question - narrow every song I've ever heard to one. The weirdest part is that I find choosing my favourite song was the easiest task. Don't ask me what number 2 is, I have yet to decide, but 100% my favourite song is:

Nutshell by Alice In Chains.

I was first introduced to the song when Aaron Lewis from Staind did a live cover of it. I instantly fell in love with the song and have 3 different versions of the song on my iPod. My iPod tells me I've listened to the song over 400 times (all three versions combined) and I'm still in love with it.

So, have any of you been able to narrow it down to a single song?

One song that has consistently remained a favorite of mine for many years now is "This Is Not An Exit" by Saves the Day.  It gives me a sense of optimism whenever I'm down, and I appreciate that.

Completely impossible for me.

Maybe its 70s song "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty today, tomorrow it might be Silversun Pickups' "Panic Switch", next week it might be some epic European symphonic rock like "Beyond Desert Sands" by Serenity or Ayreon's "Beneath the Waves".  Could be something Pendulum's "Witchcraft" for some synthetic energy, or something dark like Iced Earth's "Burnt Offerings".

I listen to way too much music in too many different genres and styles to have one single favorite song, lol

Like With Creed, naming one isn't a reality for me, but lately I've been getting a Pink Floyd fix so I'll go with
One of These Days
The Thin Ice
Have a Cigar and
When the Tigers Broke Free

I'd have to say Happy? by Mudvayne after that It'd probably be a toss up of a few Alice in Chains songs such as No Excuses and Man in The Box. (I enjoy doing karaoke and those 3 songs are really fun to do)

Right now, it's been "Survival of the Sickest" by Saliva with a tad bit of an edited intro.

UGG!

I can't pick, it depends what kind of mood I'm in.

My favorite song for a LONG time was "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" by Billy Joel.

However, my tastes have changed over the last 10 years and now I might have to say "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin.

Both of these songs I find myself sitting in my car waiting for them to get over before I get out and go about my day.

Other days I like "Another Brick in the Wall part II" by Pink Floyd or "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire

"Around the World" / "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk from their Alive 2007 album. I've listened to it soooo many times.

You may want to specify the artist because I almost vomited reading from the bottom up thinking your favorite song was by Owl City.

Right now I'm on an Iron Maiden kick. Two songs of theirs I'm really enjoying are

"Fear of the Dark" (Original studio version): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nba3Tr_GLZU

"The Prisoner": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=POISDmuOWVw
