I know he just came back, he has shown only 1 move and doesn't really have a history on the WWE. But can we get a promo Funkasaurus Brodus Clay? Pretty please?

It's not that there's not enough moves for him not to have cards, it's that he hasn't really displayed a fully-fleshed character on television yet worth or fitting for a superstar ability. He's danced around and squashed people...I'd say let's wait and see what he does or what they do with him before Creed and Company can accurately issue him a proper ability and card support.

Getting away from Brodus, DiBiase looks like he'll be loads of fun.  Can't wait to see more!

I like Ted, but I feel like their should be a money ability like a cost reduction for his non-unique cards, but the throwback is nice. I could see that ability in a pre-match like I came from money. I for one welcome RockNSock since it goes with the original decks being tag teams plus I am a giant fan of both guys. I still don't understand how Alberto is supposed to work, but its been awhile since I played is it an heat or anti-heat deck? As for Laycool, I can understand being a fan and not getting a deck for your favorite superstar or team, but this game has been gone for almost five years, lets cut the guys some slack. Also, Beautiful People did it first.

Don't worry, Ted will definitely strike you as coming from money when you see his full set.

i know. just making a correction. i agree, this gimmick is too new for an ability, but not for card names. and he does more than one move.

i like dibiase's ability, i just don't like dibiase.

I dig DiBiase's ability, nice and simple and gives reason to play some unloved cards. I for one am grateful that the game continues to live and you won't see me complain about anything we get.

So please, scale back the venom and relax already.  It's actually pretty obnoxious when you spend days cooking a big meal for a bunch of people who'll have a nice big free meal, with a lot of different dishes and styles, taking your time and effort to make sure everything's nearly perfect, and some guy is complaining loudly that you didn't make rice pudding on top of it.  Wink

lol, now that's what I'm talking about CREED! I think the administrators have been pretty tolerant of some of these remarks over the last week, but enough is enough. Put that dog to rest already and let's all move on. You can always make your own cards and play with them at your house if your not happy with what's being offered here for FREE!

The biggest dream for Raw deal is, that one day one of my favourite Wrestlers comes out: Gangrel. So, how possible is it to play him when Rev 6 arrives?

If you're curious, Toxic made a Gangrel fantasy card that I thought was fun.   http://www.teamcanadaonline.net/index.php/topic,10858.msg129137.html#msg129137

Thank you, but theres no card in this topic. And i´m not very good in designing card.

He's talking about the Gangrel ability.  And don't worry, if we make Gangrel (or even as part of the Brood) we'll take care of making the card pictures, lol

Thanks CreedP. What i was trying to say is, that the abillity is very nice, but he doesn´t made a card to play with. Wink The Brood would be awesome, too. If i think about it, it would be much better the a single Gangrel. Cheesy

Late to the party - but I really dig Ted, both in a graphic design sense and in ability. He's definitely one I intend to build once the set is out.

I really like everything you guys are doing with the cards, I have heard mention of the Corre and the New Nexus, which has me and my friend really excited since he is a big Wade Barrett fan and I'm a huge CM punk fan, I expect if those come out to have many a rivalry game between us  Smiley

Really loving the new concepts for the set, but would really love too see some more fan favorite/cheater cards in this set, but i will leave it too the game designers too do. and we need a SS-Specific Manager... just a thought.

and i would love too see drew make a n apperance. i will put up my alberto deck that i thought of ages ago but i gave up testing it, too much focus on subbmissions when i made him but was a good mechanic.

I think we'll have a few of those, yes...  And there's already a very important Superstar-specific Manager in the set, yes.  Smiley

Drew, eh, being so bad you're almost fired isn't much of a storyline to design around.. or motivation.  lol  But we'll see if they come up with something better.

And yes, there is absolutely a Wade Barrett in the set.  Smiley

Well I am hoping that the new set will have a couple of new non-superstar specific BASH cards as well. I think when your paying the penalty of not getting to pack any Heel, Face, Cheater, Fan Favorite, Raw, Smackdown, Chain, Heat, or Volley cards, you deserve a little something special.

There were a couple in R4, two more in R5, and an Action in SNME.  Much like Foreign Objects, we probably won't build them up too much overall, as that particular playstyle already has a lot of perks.  But we might come up with something.. Wink

Well considering BASH cards were not introduced until the final set Comic Images released, I'd say there's some catching up to do for BASH. I mean foreign objects by comparison were around for 19 sets longer than BASH

You also have to contend with powerlevel dude. BASH is not exactly a weak archetype Tongue
Honestly Id rather see support for under-powered archetypes (Dynamic for instance), instead of powerful ones (BASH or chain for instance)

There really isn't, though. When Great American Bash was being developed (as I recall, I was never on the playtesting team so I'm just going by what I heard) they were pretty well aware that it was the last Classic set, so anything going into Bash had to stand on its own. Creed and the Virtual team had room to develop new cards, certainly, but they had less need to, since BASH was designed to be roughly as powerful with its limited card pool as the other deck archetypes were with their far more expansive ones.

Now, in terms of sheer number of cards, BASH falls behind, but in order to increase the BASH cardpool without making it unnecessarily overpowered relative to other mechanics, Creed would have to design cards that are either too weak or too narrow to make much impact, and that's kind of pointless.

This.  Smiley

Here's the difference... you look at Foreign Objects like Fire Extinguisher, Struck by an Unknown Foreign Object, Announcer's Table, Wooden Pallette... they're all very dated and hardly see play, even in an ECW-oriented deck.  However, the BASH cards were made near the end of Classic, and they have high Fortitude/Damage ratios, not to mention the whole "gain Fortitude in the Pre-match" bit.  Wink

Plus with R4, you can drop A Quick BASH-ing, which gives you access to Me Llamo Armando, in addition to W-O-R-M, and the Nowhere Fast (+ Skirt, for Divas) you can probably use on Turn 1 thanks to BASH Pre-match Fortitude.

It was designed to be a full package in GAB, as correctly assumed.  So we've tried to give some other options, like making the use of BASH maneuvers a little more desirable (R5's BASH Down the Walls) and giving something to help with the lack of Sloppy and Manager (R5's You Won't BASH Me!), but for the most part it serves the purpose.  Smiley

i think drew still has a lot of potential as a deck, even though, admittedly, he is currently king kiss-ass at the moment in current wwe, but i think thats due too the whole jericho coming back, rock vs cena, cena vs world and winning (sigh :/ ), i think wwe are just letting talents go loose which is a shamme. he did make a huge impact when he arrived, so much so i made a deck for him within a week of his first appearance...

and by any chance did this manager appear in the 2012 royal rumble? if so, SWEET Cheesy

And on the BASH subject, i think they just need more basic moves in the mix generally, or more actions for support on recovery.

I think that it's a better idea to have basic moves that BASH can pack, rather than make something like a 5/9 BASH Multi and a 6/10. Between Whirlwind Kick, some of the Classic moves, and BASH's original low-F Multis, as well as A Quick BASH-ing, BASH's early game is pretty open.

As for recovery actions, Takin' a BASH is pretty potent if you can land it. There're also a lot of non-aligned recovery cards out there (Candace: Internet Icon is open in one move for most BASH decks).
