So I picked this up on my 360 after a friend recommended it to me. And I can say I really enjoyed it.

It's the Blitz like I remembered, with the plays (Sub Zero and Da Bomb FTW!), the over-the-top hits, 30 yards to the first down, and so on. EA did a fantastic job.

The only drawback I've found is that hitting after the play is NOT in the game, per request of the NFL. So for those of you who want to drill Michael Vick or Ben Roethlisberger (or whoever you hate) after the play, you're outta luck. I consider this though only a minor drawback and not something that majorly takes away my enjoyment of the game.

I've played two online matches so far. Didn't win either, but in the second I forced overtime and lost after my attempted two-point conversion fell incomplete. It was a really thrilling game.

I'd say it's worth picking up, especially for 1200 Microsoft Points. It's also on the PS3.

If anyone else picks it up, hit me up and we'll exchange gamertags.

You can't even hit the fake QBs now either?

In all serious though I don't have a problem with why they did that and can understand it. I was thinking about getting this but I use to hate Blitz. I'll give the demo a try first.

I didn't have a problem either, especially with how protective the NFL is of its image now. Though I find it dumb that some people are giving the game low ratings only because you can't hit after the play. It was there for flavor and not a major part of the game. But I guess people like clobbering the virtual versions of the QBs they hate.
