We weren't going to make them at all, but since you said that, we'll have to make them just in case someday you meet them.... you can say "Please sign my Raw Deal cards with you on them?"  Tongue

I've already made a deck box for Ryder. Woo Woo Woo!

As for Superstar I'd most love to meet in real life, it'd have to be Jericho or Foley.  They both seem like really genuinely nice people and fun to be around.

I'll agree on Jericho... got to meet him in 97 before Halloween Havoc in Las Vegas.  I didn't load the camera right (which meant I lost my pic with Alex Wright, dangit, he thought I looked like Stevie Richards' brother, heh) so it took 3 tries to get the picture.  Thankfully he was a good sport, though he went from casual to silly by the third one... Smiley

I'd personally like to meet Triple H and/or CM Punk, though I doubt that'd go over as well as I picture it in my head, heh

2008 Raw Deal World Champion

I've met Lawler twice, and that guys is as friendly and as funny as the work day is long.

Shane Helms is also a pretty easy-going guy. I, along with some of you, met him up at Wizard World East a few years back. After he stopped by the Raw Deal qualifier area and signed some autographs he ended up just in front of a friend and I in the concession line. A cool, down to earth guy if ever I met one.

I met Dustin Rhodes, along with his mom and sister, coming back from WM 23, though I couldn't tell you what he's like in person because his sister was hot enough to be too distracting.

Jimmy Hart is as flamboyant as he was at ringside, ever playing the part.

But as far as wrestlers I'd like to meet in person, I'd have to list hte following:

Ric Flair (I'd like to sit down over a beer and talk about how crazy women are with this guy.)

The Big Show

Rowdy Roddy Piper (was one of my faves back in the day.0

Big Show was cool as hell to meet, first time i met him, I was alittle scared cause i never met someone that big before. I met Chris Benoit, John Cena, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Rhyno, Brock Lesnar, Hillbilly Jim, Buh Buh ray and Devon Dudley, Jeff Jarret, Tracy Brooks, Greg The Hammer Valentine, Jerry Lawler, Torrie Wilson, Dawn Marie, Maria, Gorgeous George, Virgil, The Honkey Tonk Man, the Smoke, and Raven. Also meeting Viscera and Charlie Haas was cool too, couldn't get into my car that night and big Vis opened it for me...lol

As for people I would like to meet that would be Randy Orton and CM Punk. Punk I get to meet at Wizard World Philly. YEAH!

I would have to say C.M. Punk and Sheamus. I've been big fans of them for quite awhile and I almost feel an innate need to meet Sheamus just cause my mom and her family is from north Ireland.

As for who I have met, had a really fun time hanging out with Gangrel and Norman Smiley when the came into the Waffle House I was working at near Kansas City.

Gail Kim

Bret Hart*
David Hart Smith*
Virgil
Bushwhacker Luke
HonkeyTonk Man
[I know I'm missing two or three (or more)]

Want to meet:
Eddie Guerrero (The Subject line said "wish")

Overall, I don't really have a desire to meet any wrestlers, but my path keeps finding me in the same place.
As long as they're relaxed, and cool to hang with, that's all that matters.

I met Foley (Dude Love) at a Wal-Mart signing in 1998. It was a random Tuesday (before a house show at 1pm) and parents weren't pulling their kids out of school for a wrestler. Mine did though - and it was a totally amazing experience for me. There were literally 5 people there (my sis and mom included). He signed my hat, my shirt, whatever we wanted. He even gave my sister (10 at the time) his Mr. Big bar cause he said she was really cool. A really great guy!

Now to answer the question, I'd like to meet my two favourite wrestlers, who are facing each other at Rumble, Kane and Cena.

PS. Benoit gave a VERY FIRM handshake. It hurt Sad

I've met... The Dudley Boyz, The Headbangers, CM Punk, Stevie Richards, RVD, Rene Dupree.... I can't remember any others but I know JDub and I met a bunch at two new school ECW shows in Racine, WI.  I've also met a lot of Dragongate USA guys, but nobody cares about that.  I also took pictures of my friend with Sabu and Danielson, but didn't really talk to either.

There isn't really  anyone I have a strong desire to meet, but I think Ric Flair would be pretty funny.

My feelings exactly.  Ever since I started working in the business as a ring announcer and manager, that list has gone through the roof.  I've had the pleasure of working with CHIKARA, CZW, and independents here in the Midwest.  I've shared a ring with Drake Younger, Scotty Vortekz, Daniel Bryan, BJ Whitmer, Sami Calihan, Colt Cabana, and that's just scratching the surface.

Who would I like to meet?  Ricardo Rodriguez, Joel Gertner, Joey Styles, Jim Cornette, and Bobby Heenan.  The first one because I respect the hell out of what he does, the others to sit down and pick their brain.

Since this is drifting into including "Who have you met?", I'll add mine, most of which were in 1997, before and after a Nitro in June and the mostly-terrible Halloween Havoc.

Big Show (The Giant)
Macho Man
Glacier
Ernest 'The Cat' Miller
Rey Mysterio
Eric Bischoff
Chris Jericho
Eddie Guerrero
X-Pac (Syxx)
Kevin Sullivan
Chris Benoit
Disco Inferno
Konnan
Alex Wright
Diamond Dallas Page

The last one was my favorite, it was the morning of Nitro, he & Kimberly were going to hotel clothing store to look for a dress for her.  On the way he invited me to 'walk and talk' (Raven was there, but just wandered off on his own, lol) and I got to chat with him for a bit.  He was great with fans, stopped to take pictures & sign autographs... I didn't get a pic with him, but this was better anyway, heh.

Oh, and like a bunch of Raw Deal'ers, I got to meet Rob Van Dam at GenCon 2005.  Very cool guy.

First time meeting both of them (same night) was in Vegas for Halloween Havoc. Met the entire WCW roster that night, including Hogan and Savage (although briefly).

Last time meeting each of them was Eddie: backstage at a Supershow in Anaheim, CA (night RVD was drafted to RAW). Was introduced again to Eddie by Rey, then they proceeded to talk about their match that evening and what they were going to do.

Special note of interest for me was meeting Linda McMahon that night, as she was never really on my list of people to meet because I just thought it would be impossible. Also, the limo she rode in was used as JBL's limo for his ring appearance. They simply added the horns to the front and slapped a decal on the side for him.  Smiley

2nd time meeting Benoit was at the WM 2000 All Axxess Fan Fest in Anaheim, CA. Last time as at the RVD Comic Book store in Lakewood, CA during WM 21 week (also at his store was Spike Dudley, Kane and Bret Hart, although I was most excited to meet Tony Garea who was Kane's WWE representative for that appearance).

Since those days, I've been privileged to work with many different wrestlers over the years, some who have become personal friends. I've been lucky enough to paralay that connection to help get many of the Backstage Autograph Session cards done to hand out as prize cards for all the TK orders. Hoipefully, more to come ...   Wink

Long, long story ....

Short version, been friends with RVD for some time and doors opened from there.

Those open doors have really helped with getting many of the Backstage Autograph Session cards. Will be working on getting a new signer this coming weekend and possibly a great dual autograph version.  Grin

More details this time next week.  Wink
