How do the NWO cards work? how do you go about putting together an NWO deck? Who are the Superstars, besides Hall & Nash?
Can WCW's WolfPack use all the NWO cards? I've been wanting to make an NWO deck for some time but I never really understood how to put one together. Any help would be appreciated.

There's a couple levels here:

1) You ARE an nWo Superstar: Hall & Nash, nWo Wolfpack, --REDACTED-- in R6
You can just play these cards straight up.

2) You have an nWo Backstage Card and/or Pre-match card:  X-Pac, Hogan & Big Show (R4)
Once your card is out, you can play those nWo cards.

3) You want to JOIN the nWo
You can use the Allegiance phase (which comes before the Venue phase, similar rules as the other non-Event phases) to drop nWo T-Shirt-Throwback from R5  (you could use the original T-Shirt in R4, but it kind of sucks, sigh)   Here's the thing.. you don't have to let on right away, but if you're discovered to have an nWo card, you pop it into the Ring.  So you can start the game just like a regular dude, no big deal...

...then you pull off your shirt and reveal an nWo T-shirt, the music plays, and your back-up comes out to help you.  Smiley

Ding my cowbell if I'm wrong, but isn't there also an NWO enforcer card that lets you use NWO cards if you are Eric Bischoff or a non-GM superstar that can pack enforcers?

It's probably smarter to save the nWo Enforcer for a surprise reveal-and-swap, though.

Hey, sorry for my ignorance. But what's the deal with the cowbell and dinging?

So what are the differences in "packing" requirements for NWO cards versus "playing" requirements? And let's say there's a Hall n' Nash card with their logo and the NWO logo, can any NWO member use that card even though it has Hall n' Nash's logo?

No, an nWo logo doesn't take precedence over a Superstar logo. Nobody can pack 4 Life! or nWo Black and White just because they have the T-Shirt.

Thanks guys. Also Managed by Eric Bischoff (TB) is kind of a nWo card or at least it plays off of nWo cards.

Are there any other cards that play off of nWo cards.

And it looks like most of the nWo cards that are non-superstar specific are vitual.

The only non-Superstar-specific non-Virtual nWo card is Lethal nWo Poison.

I heard rumors, back in the day, that they were going to do a lot more nWo stuff with the set after Summerslam.. then Vince decided to kill it off, so the nWo T-Shirt never got printed.  I also heard they had planned for Hogan to be nWo but since he broke away from them, they went ahead and printed him 'classic' style, yellow & red.

Instead, they came out with the brand separation, so the next set after Summerslam was all about Raw/Smackdown stuff.

I often wondered about that. I can really see the challenges that Barron and the guys faced trying to follow-up cards and themes and superstar support while trying to satisfy those current WWF/WWE storylines and superstars on staff at the time. I can imagine how hard it was to start card concepts and playtesting on cards all the time, only to have them shut down before release due to superstar turnover and storyline changes. Dang Vince McMahon, lol

Well I'm glad that TCO corrected so many of the things that Barron was not allowed to, especially following through with some more nWo cards
