Hello guys,

I had a question on the Legacy Superstar card. I wanted to know what the purpose of making it horizontally oriented was. Is it a revolution superstar? It's designed like a normal Raw Deal superstar except the horizantal aspect, plus it says non-Trademark, and non-Trademark Finisher on the card. What is the purpose of that?

keep in mind - these questions are being posed from a non-Revolution player (I've never truly seen or owned any Revolution cards mainly because I attribute them to the downfall of comic images and would rather just pretend like they never existed, lol)

No, Revolution cards all have a 'Revolution' logo.  The Superstar cards were horizontally-oriented, yes, but they all had the 'rocky background' look (Extremists were a greyscale version of the same).  Strictly for reference, here's a link to a sample Superstar card and regular card posted on Comic Images' website:

Basically we were having trouble making those old SS3-style Superstar Cards work with Stable pictures, so I took a different approach.  However, down the road we're hoping to revise R5 and update the SS cards to look more traditional, with the 'Classic' look.

trademark and trademark finisher are 2 separate manuever types. trademark finisher from classic and just trademark from revolution. this is for virtual all axxess which allows virtual, regular AND revolution cards to be played. the reference to "non-trademark" has no effect in virtual classic play.

Whoops, I missed that part of the question, heh.

Right, Trademark was the 'catch-all' in Revolution for (basically) Superstar-specific maneuvers, rather than having some that were Grapple or High Risk, etc.  So for those decks running Revolution cards, its similar to the 'non-Trademark-Finisher' clause, just covers both bases.

ok, well that explains those questions. thanks guys

Now I have a question about their superstar ability. So against every successful maneuver he overturns the top 3 cards and if any of those 3 can reverse the successful maneuver played, then he removes it from the game and stops taking damage. What about against multi manuevers? For example, 'The Giant Head Butt', Andre's superstar specific that requires 3 reversal cards to reverse it. So if its played against Legacy, if he overturns any reversal he has the fortitude to play that reverses a strike, then he doesn't take any of the 10 damage from the Head Butt and my turn continues? Am I interpreting that right?  Huh?
