Yes, they will.  The RDPC formed after Raw Deal's unfortunate demise to continue the game on in a sponsored form.

There will be tournament prize cards, and promos, both of which will be distributed by the RDPC in order to further the game.

Please keep in mind though: These cards were not tested with older cards in mind.  They're meant to be played as their own version of Raw Deal, which is why many card names and effects overlap.

Revo4 (CREED's set) is a completely different project than this one.  As of this moment, I'm not sure what his timeline for distribution is; You'd have to sidle on over to the Revo4 board and ask him yourself ^_^;

As for NRD, I hope to have it debut at Gencon, but the timeline is currently up in the air right now.

Even if it does debut at Gencon, the cards won't be legal until after that, so if you bring them to play it would just be in casual/side pods.  If you're lucky, however, I may be doing some pods for the new promo cards!

That sounds good...For the peeps that won't make Gencon, we can still get a hold of these cards right??? Cause I am hoping to run RD and Wizard World Philadelphia next year and would love to have these cards there...Can we mix and match the New RD with the Old too???

The intention of New Raw Deal is to have a fresh start.

These cards were not tested with the old game in mind.

I doubt it'll be legal for official Raw Deal Player Committee tournaments to mix and match otherwise we'd all have to take a few months and playtest to see exactly what we'd have to ban in the big cluster of a game we'd have. There's some wild stuff we'd be running into. lol

If you want a good book-end to the old game though take a look at Revolution 4 above. Creed and the gang have worked hard to bring a nice end to the original game so that maybe we'd have a somewhat more balanced game than the crap we had for a while there.

The good Mr. Hurricane is correct.

Though you /can/ mix and match new and old, NRD wasn't designed with the old cards in mind, which means they could be huge balancing issues at work here.  In short: Any Raw Deal Player's Committee ranked/sanctioned tournaments in NRD format will be NRD cards only.

In regards to the set itself, it will be distributed on TCO or RawDealPlanet.

In regards to the promos/prize cards, they'll be mailed out to areas that register to run tournaments with the RDPC, as well as sent to other cons such as WWP.  I had just hoped to get them started at Gencon itself.

The cards will come in PDF form, so you can take them to a print shop and have them print it in CCG quality.

Er...to be honest, I don't know much about the UK in respect to its large commercial franchises.

Next time I see Mr. Davenport online, I'll endeavor to ask him on your behalf.  But I may need reminding!

You probably could, but Kinko's would be a much better bet. They specialize in print services.

The details are currently being worked out; At the moment we are testing different programs to see which is best suited to Raw Deal.

In regards to the tournament formats, I only have domain over NRD, and NRD tournaments will be NRD only.  The rest of the RDPC controls if there are online AA/AB/Revo/Classic/etc. tournaments, and what the prizes are.
