It happens about once a week where suddenly every post a new user has input on from the last year gets bumped up, even if it's 5 months old--presumably to get enough posts to receive trade forum access.  Is there anything that can be changed (maybe like 25 meaningful posts or maybe a different requirement that isn't postnumber based) to prevent what equates to spam?

although I have seen this happen, it's rare and never bothers me. Hell, I'm just happy to see any new posts on this once thriving forum.

If the posts are drivel and meaningless, and is basically spam, we delete those posts, reducing the users post count.
