There is a lot of "win or die" offense in this game.  Michaels Kipup, UT's RIP, and I'm sure they're not the only ones.

Khali is funny, 60D TMF, lol.  Represented very well.

Carlito is straight nasty. 

Cena is his usual annoying self. 

UT is ok, but RIP is a terrible card if you can't win that turn.  Ironically, he Tornado Tags well with JBL, since JBL can remove Rest In Peace if he needs to recover.  Eyes of the Deadman is the uber, however

JBL seems just weird...but he has the ability to manage his own Mid-Match slots from the door, which is pretty ridiculous.  But by JBL's ability, you're searching for something with a higher printed F Value, right?  Like, if I have 2F, I can discard and search for a card that's printed 5F but reduces down to 0F when played as a move?

It works as you're expecting, except in special cases.  Consider the following.

Let's say you have 1F.

You could search for a maneuver that's 3F, but says 'When played as a maneuver, this card is -3F.'  The card is considered 3F when you search for it, even though when you play it it's 0F.

You could NOT search for that maneuver if you had a card in play that said 'Your maneuvers are -3F.', because the maneuver in question would be 0F when being searched for, so it would not be valid for your ability.

This isn't a very important distinction at the moment, but it's something to consider for future.

Additionally, consider the synergy between JBL's ability, Pre-match and TMF.  It's scary stuff.

Question: What counts as a card type for Carlito's ability?

Pre-match, Maneuver, Reversal, Action.

1) Punjabi Prison isn't the kind of card you play every game; It's simply an option against ultra-stall decks, like Flair or Hornswoggle that can theoretically eat your maneuvers longer than you can throw them.  Correspondingly, it didn't trigger much in playtesting, because it was played more as a meta card than anything.

2) The text of that card is Punjabi for 'I am the greatest!' or something similar.  I can't recall the exact translation.

How did Carlito's ability pan out during playtesting?  It looks pretty powerful.  Did you consider rewording so that the Carlito player must pick a card type that his opponent actually has out?  Am I missing something or will Carlito totally own JBL if he tries to use Work Smarter - Not Harder?

Also also:
So Carlito's opponent is pretty much guaranteed to lose one of his prematch cards because Carlito's ability activates before his opponent's Draw Segment.  All he has to do is name "not prematch" at the beginning of his opponent's first turn.

It works as you're expecting, except in special cases.  Consider the following.

Although we've had some differences of opinion regarding Carlito's ability in playtesting, it only proved to be over-the-top in an unfortunate series of matches vs. Umaga.

Forcing Carlito to pick only a type his opponent has out unnecessarily slows him down.  Given that it's already Carlito's opponent that gets to choose the card regardless, losing a single Pre-match /of the player's choice/ on his turn isn't a huge deal; Just something to consider when you're planning out your Pre-match.

Besides, Carlito gets to decide what's cool, not you!

just because it popped into my head: why is the change to undertaker's ability on RIP instead of say like gong or look into the eyes? i mean already RIP makes it so eitehr you win or you die on either you or your opponent's turn. it becomes almost pointless at that juncture to have the ability change.

Well the change to the ability will help you win on your uberturn.  If you had one turn to win the game, would you rather discard 2 cards to retrieve 1 card or discard 1 card to retrieve 1 card?

Edit: Hmm...I just reread RIP.  Your ability is still limited to once per turn with RIP's enhancement.  Wouldn't it make more sense if RIP allowed you to use your ability multiple times per turn while keeping the 2-per-1 cost?

What the deuce are you two talking about, 'one turn to win the game'?

RIP puts any 6 cards from your Ringside into your Arsenal.  That's 6 turns, if you play your cards and ability right!
