So sorry if this is stepping on anyone’s toes, and if you will allow this Bryson i would be thankful. But i just thought i would start a thread where people can post who they think they will play as, as some people are coming forward and saying they will be played as various people, i'm just interested, if this is out of line then please lock and delete however yeah. I know allot of people will say "i'm waiting for more wrestlers to come out" which is good, however i'm not going to hold anyone to anything they put here it's just for interest so i can learn more about the people and how they plan to play.

So i'll kick off saying Currently i'm looking at Carlito, Maybe Falir maybe Rey. ohh and maybe Kali (like most people are) too, Also Punk. I’m going to start making deck lists when I get back from holiday in a week and then I’ll know for sure.

We're not sure which program we're going to use for the tournaments eventually, but at the moment we're considering Lackey.

Lackey has a separate field for Backlash and Backstage (no more pointless dragging cards out of your deck like in Apprentice) and has rollover visuals of each card.

The deck editor is a bit clunky though, which is why we haven't made any final decisions.

Definatly Santino, how can I not play a card that has "Subway" in it, and until we get Santino is my corner, which will probably be never, I'll have to play him. I'm also curious as to how John Morrison will be done, so I'll most likely play him as he is the closest thing to MNM right now. Miz 'n' Morrison representing. I'm curious if you went with the singles Morrison with such jems as "I am beyond Good and Evil" and "Some are born to sweep the light and some are born to endless night" or the tag team Morrison with lines like "Be jealous" and "We don't have...at the palace of wisdom." Sadley, with only five cards none of these may see play as more popular things like the Moonlight Drive, springboard boot to the head and the Guru of Greatness will probably all mbe cards, but I shall see, won't I?

Morrison = Goldmine of card titles....
However i don't think Bryson will have any prolvems with anyone, he proved that i feel when he pulled out "i'm The greatest" in Punjab as a card title. and a card with Subway in the title..

At the risk of giving too much away...

Many of the better card titles for Morrison have been put on reserve for a potential future Tag Team Superstar with Miz (NRD3).

If their tag team dematerializes before it goes to print, however, those card titles will default back to Morrison himself.

Will their be a superstar card every set for previous superstars? (like RDC?) and moreover (i love that word so much) how far have you planned till? i mean you mentioned set 3 but how far have you thought for this bad boy so far? out of intrest that is.

There is likely going to be a card for each superstar in each set, but that may change after a few sets depending on how much space we have.

As of this moment, we're planning up to (and including) NRD3.

NRD2's roster is more or less locked at this point, so the rollover superstars (like Miz & Morrison) are getting pushed to 3.

My username is the same. There is only one blog up right now but look for more NRD goodness to come in the blogs there. we are gonna bring back Raw Deal, if i have any say in it.

Hah, I'm glad to hear you're doing your part for the game we all love!  It's much appreciated!

As for when the set will be done in PDF format...as mentioned on one of the other boards, we're dealing with a bit of an administrative snag at the moment, and I can't say for sure when it will be cleared up.  That's part of why I'm pushing the online game so much: So that when the PDFs come out, people will be all gung-ho and ready!

The upside on lackey far exceeds the downside.  I am familiar with both lackey and apprentice and I was a very faithful supporter of apprentice for a while but now that I have become familiar with lackey I have realized that there is no comparison between the two, lackey is superior.

*shrug* as soon as today's wave is posted I'll be posting my 4 beta decks (Which mind you, I never actually played as I'm the worst tester EVER) in case anybody doesn't know where to start, so, decklists will be abundant. I could post them now, but I don't want to spoil MVP and Morrison's card titles.
