Hahahaha!

Rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated.

I was simply hiding underground, working diligently to provide you with the following picture.

Anti-climactic, I know, but perhaps this spoiler collection will grow as I get bored.  The problem is that taking the print-ready product and making it viewable on here is an extra step which I'm inclined not to take for each card.

As such, I may occasionally put a card up here to let you know things are coming along, but don't expect much until all 300 are done.

An additional note:

THE FOLLOWING CARDS ARE NOT OF PRINT-WORTHY QUALITY.  PLEASE REFRAIN FROM PRINTING THEM OR HAVING THEM PRINTED; THE ACTUAL CARDS WILL BE PROVIDED IN A LARGE PDF FILE UPON COMPLETION.

The text looks very clean. Aside from the rough borders it looks great.

Get the "F" Out. (Other than that, not too bad.)

and as for  the "target logo". I could live without that. Why not put the "target" where the Revo cards have it (over the Damage Value)?

The problem with putting the target above the damage is that there tends to be not enough room for the various traits if a card happens to have many of them.  For example, if a card has stun, target, unique, and a Style, it becomes a terrible mess.  And that's not even considering what happens if it has multiple stun, targets, traits or Styles.

Although it's not the most aesthetically pleasing place to put the target, it's clear and concise.  Sometimes form has to give way to function.

I talked to Bryson. He told me simply that he is working hard on the PDF for NRD and he is going to try and get it to us ASAP! I have faith in him that we can get this out soon, lets give Bryson some time and space. My appologies go out to Bryson for bothering him so much about it...lol

I apologize for the delay; Frankly, I'd be upset too if I was waiting to play the best game in the history of any game that's ever been created ever ever.

Please try to understand, though: Putting together these cards in a print-worthy way is a monumental task for a single person to be undertaking.  Just to give you a rough idea of the effort involved, each card takes about 10 minutes to make perfect.  That's 6 cards an hour.  With 300 cards, that's 50 man-hours of work involved, not to mention the time spent fixing the templates, making edits, correcting errors, etc.

Juggling that with work, school, a relationship, family, and other responsibilities all adds up to one thing: This is something that will take time, and simply can't be rushed unless you would be accepting of a less-than perfect product (which I'm not).

Just try to bear with me during this.  It will be ready when it's ready, and when it is, things will be good.

Cheers,
Bryson

Has anyone thought of making a raw deal template for the magic set editor program?

You would be hard pressed to get a real "quality" look by doing so. I made all my templates using GIMP, it's a free image editing program with considerable depth to it. Basically a free, open-source, version of image editing software to compete with programs such as Adobe Photoshop.

With all that being said, if you aren't good with photo editing, this program won't do you any good. However, if you are you can achieve some quality templates for free. It would only cost you the time it takes to make them.
