I would have to agree with a lot of what is being said on this thread. I'm not a FPS guy either, and outside of the Knights of the Old Republic series on original XBOX, the system really didn't appeal to me. However, PS3 has so many diverse games like InFamous, Heavy Rain, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (One of my favorite fighting games)...and of course...God of War. The blu-ray system is very comparable to stand alone systems and I guess I just grew up on the playstation style controller. The XBOX is like....too bulky for my tastes.

well if you do get a new system in the near future, go with the ps3. i say this for a few reasons. some people have already brought up (more game variety, controller size, blu ray, etc.). however my main reasons are because a) less problems with ps3 and if you DO encounter a problem at least the people that you call on the hotline speak english mostly and b) free online and free web browser.
