I don't understand what they are doing with NXT. They keep saying it's going to be a Tough Enough like show. But if it starts next week wouldn't actually had to like start filming it then? Or it's going to be TE but in front of a live crowd? I'm hoping it's just going to be a normal wrestling show with those guys.

The trials and tribulations of the WWE NXT cast ensure action-packed, innovative entertainment – WWE Style."

Syfy president Dave Howe says they're looking at WWE to create "gritty behind-the-scenes reality" mixed with WWE's traditional "heart-stopping entertainment."

they are basically ripping off UFC.  each superstar will have a main roster mentor and they go through whatever obstacles put in front of them

I could see the following things happening on the first show:

* Daniel Bryan's Pro is Chris Masters, who tries to show him how to do a Small Package.  After a long pause, Daniel tells him to "get the <bleep> out of here."  Masters tries teaching Daniel maneuvers, and Bryan reverses him every time, escalating into knee strike flurry and MMA elbow attacks until Masters taps out.

* John Cena gets Skip Sheffield as his Rookie, giving drill sergeant style motivation as Skip does bench presses.  Suddenly, Seamus runs in and pump kicks Cena, then pushes the weight bar into Skip's chest, saying "Triple H said to always make sure and hold the new talent down."  The camera pans over to Undertaker, who has Joe Hennig on the floor in a choke, and he gives Seamus an approving thumbs-up.

* Shawn Michaels personally picks Justin Angel for his Rookie and falls back into his psuedo-Christian role, saying "I'm just a guy, and he's Just-in Angel over my shoulder."  But Vince, jealous of Kurt Angle's success in TNA, renames him Justin Angle, makes him a gold-medal winning synchronized swimmer, and buries him on Smackdown for 3 months.

* Kaval gets paired with Santino Marella:
"Okay, Santino gonna show you all da' wrestling moves, Santino been rassling for 5 years, how long you been wrestling, 3, 4 months?"
"12 years."
"12 months, not'a bad.  So come in da ring and I show you your first professional move, Tabal."  "Kaval."
"Natal?"  "Kaval."
"So tall?"  "Kaval."
"Black Ball?"  "Kaval."
"Susan?"  -Kaval just glares-
"Whata'ever your name is, now Santino gonna show you how to kick someone in da head.  First you..."  -Kaval kicks Santino, who is KTFO'd-
"This is bull<bleep>!  I can't believe they <bleep> paired me with this <bleep> retarded <bleep> <bleep> crap, I quit!"

* Brett DiBiase gets DAVE as his Pro, who says maybe one day Brett can be on Raw.  Brett: "I've already been on Raw."  Batista is confused, and DiBiase seizes the moment, talking up the bigger man and challenging him to do 100 push-ups for $100.  Dave falls for it, does 98 push-ups, then Brett kicks his arm out.  Batista tears his tricep in the process.

* Rookie Michael Tarver is put with CM Punk, who has him shave his head and join the Straight-Edge Society.  He follows Punk around for 3 weeks, given no opportunity to speak or wrestle, then is released from the company and wished well in his endeavors.

* Triple H makes his Rookie, Heath Slater, carry his bags and wash his car.  He gets the name wrong twice, then makes a Dark Knight joke.  Heath is very enthusiastic nonetheless, calling him "Sir, Triple H, Sir" and even "Your Highness, Triple H".  After doing a good job washing HHH's car, 3 months later Heath wins the World Championship on Raw.

On Tonight's ECW tapings, they revealed who will be with who.




























ECW on SyFy:

* A video for the ECW history is shown. Tonight they will reveal the stars of NXT.

* Big Show & The Miz defeat Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu to retain the tag titles in a good match. Miz gets the pin on Goldust.

* It’s announced that Chris Jericho will be paired with Wade Barrett and Matt Hardy paired with Justin Gabriel, not a typo, on NXT

* Tiffany comes out but is interrupted by Zack Ryder and Rosa. Ryder is upset he didn’t get the last ECW Title shot at Christian.

* It’s announced MVP will be paired with Skipp Sheffield on NXT.

* Abraham Washington is the guest on his own show. Shelton Benjamin and Vance Archer interrupt, having words with each other. Trent Baretta and Caylen Croft come out. Vladimir Kozlov comes out and takes everyone out except Benjamin. They shake hands and that’s it.

* It’s announced Carlito will be paired with Michael Tarver and The Miz will be paired with Daniel Bryan (Danielson) on WWE NXT.

NXT: Christian is with Heath Slater

* Christian comes out and cuts a promo on ECW, talking about Tommy Dreamer and being proud to be the longest reigning ECW Champ in WWE history. He says tonight he’s fighting for the ECW Originals. Christian says he’s proud to be the last ECW Champion.

NXT: Punk is with Darren Young

Ezekiel Jackson comes out with William Regal for the ECW Title match under Extreme Rules.

* They brawl almost the whole match. Zack Ryder runs in but Christian stops him. Rosa slaps him until Tiffany comes down and fights with Rosa. They use steps, trash can lids, shopping carts and other stuff. William Regal runs in at the end but Christian hits the Killswitch on him. Zeke puts Christian through a table for the win and the ECW Title.

In a weird way, Miz being paired with Danielson is a good thing, if they plan on making Danielson heel. Because Arguably, Miz is the top mid Card heel they have right now (Emphasis on the mid card. I consider Jericho main event level. )

I see Miz mentoring Danielson as a set up for a potential feud between them.  Danielson will get pissed eventually of Miz's assholeish ways and challenge him for the US title and win it

He was just rumored to be on it. They have to save some guys for the other seasons. I think it's pretty obvious that Danielson will win (or should win at least) the first season, then probably Low Ki the 2nd. Even though this is a "reality show" no way in hell are they going to let the talent they don't think are ready/want to win a spot on SD or RAW.
