And that's a good thing? Not necessarily good, but not terrible either. In my opinion work rate is something that can be taught. Charisma, personality and the look can not be. He's got those traits he just needs a little polishing on his ring work. He already knows how to sell which is better than some. He just needs to tighten up his move set and that will come with time. |

Something that bothers me about the format of the show:
Supposedly there's going to be 3 "seasons" per calendar year. Last time I heard anything, it was stated that all 8 of the "rookies" were going to "graduate" to the main roster. If they keep this up, how long until there's noone left that's even REMOTELY tv-ready?

What is the point of the show really if they all move on? I thought only one makes it? Or the ones that get enough votes from the pros etc make it. Because last week they said the pros vote, but they can't vote for their rookie. So I'm thinking at the end the pros vote, the one with the most moves to RAW or SD. |

The problem right now for NXT is you have the WWE trying to get these rookies over with 6 of the 8 rookies all pretty much stuck with the same generic movesets. its not gonna work, they should be asking their pros about finishers and whatnot and let them experiment so crowds can connect to them. Cause sometimes all it takes is a really good finisher to get the crowd behind you.

Ha did I call it or what. On the voting tonight Daniel was #1, Barrett was #2, Gabriel was #3, Slater was #4, Otunga ("average") was #5, then the rest. I'm wondering if the pros are actually voting for this because I didn't see any way Daniel would be #1 while he was 0-5, I mean storyline wise it didn't make sense. Also the rookies didn't seem to know what position they were in before hand, and none of the promos they did in the ring seemed scripted either (Daniel was great, threw a shot at Cole and Otunga). Maybe this is more of a "reality" show then we thought. Also the winner of NXT gets a title shot at a PPV against any champ he wants. So it looks like we know how we will end up with Daniel vs Miz for the US. |

I can understand why Danielson is #1, but only if the pros are really voting. If this is all scripted like I think most assumed it was, storyline wise it didn't make sense for the guy who was 0-5 no matter how impressive he has been (which he hasn't really been able to do much yet) I would think someone like Otunga who was 5-0 and someone the WWE could milk the hell out of being married to a celeb would have been #1 or #2. I'm happy that this is probably more reality based as far as the voting goes then any of us could have hoped for. |

It still bothers me that Danielson is ranked #1 and has yet to win a match. What is the point of that? Having him go 0-x then win just so he can beat Miz for his first win is dumb. How can someone win a competition when they don't win a match? I hope he does win but how bad does it make the others look who won matches but are ranked lower.
