This is the part where Creed shows up and finds an error in the Morrison deck, thereby advancing Mr. Regal to a rematch correct?

Are we talking about the same Regal that couldn't even make it to the 2nd round?  Tongue

We both know that referee counted fast.  It's been known to have foreign competitors cheated out of victories...

A reminder that the final match results will be posted tomorrow night. Will it be Shane? Or Dupreenan?

Played out during TNA last night (forgive us).

THE FINAL ROUND RESULTS

Shane (Daeva) vs. Dupreenan (dilbert505)

No count-out, no DQ, 2-out-of-3 falls (when a fall is won it will not be stated, making the ending of the match hopefully more dramatic).
Shane's music sounds, he dances towards the ring with Mr. McMahon strutting close behind him. Dupree and Heenan appear at the entracne way, Dupree sprints to the ring as the bell sounds to start the match.
Shane goes for a headlock. The hold is a clumsy one, after a moment Dupree breaks out of it.
Dupree gets Shane up in a slam. Shane elbows Dupree in the side of the head and Dupree drops Shane on his feet.
Shane goes for a slam of his own and gets all of it. Dupree staggers up, Shane leg drags him back down. Shane is tossed a garbage can lid by Vince. Shane swings for the fences, Dupree steps aside and Shane drops the lid!
Dupree brings Shane down quickly with a single leg takedow. Shane however takes the impact and rolls to the outside of the ring where Vince tries to revive him.
Dupree rushes the outside, Vince scatters. Dupree takes Shane down again, this time with a double leg takedown. Shane's head bounces off the floor mats. Shane gets up. European uppercut from Dupree, Shane steps aside and rolls back into the ring to get away.
Dupree charges into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Shane is ready and puts the boots and fists to Dupree, Shane dances around the ring with new found life! Vince gets a trash can and throws it into Shane. Shane wallops Dupree with it. Shane drops the can and climbs to the top rope. Dupree rolls to the outside. Shane leaps off the top with a suicide plancha. Dupree evades it and Shane crashes into the barrier! Dupree pulls the trash can out to him from inside the ring. Dupree throws it at Shane's head, but Shane is able to roll out of the way before it connects. The can bounces of the barrier and rolls out of the way away from the action.
Shane can barley get to his feet.
Dupree helps Shane up and hooks on a rolling hip toss, Shane stops the execution of the move by elbowing Dupree in the face. Both men stagger off in seperate directions around the ring.
Dupree runs around the ring and tries to blindside Shane with a punch. Shane stops it cold.
Shane knocks Dupree away and pulls a kendo stick out from underneath the ring. Dupree rushes Shane, WHAP! Shane cracks Dupree good. The kendo stick in Shane's hands becomes a flurry as Shane unloads about a dozen shots on Dupree. Shane throws the beaten and bruised Dupree back into the ring. Shane props the prone Dupree up in a corner, Shane rests the kendo stick against Dupree's throat. Shane climbs to the top rope of the opposite corner. Van Terminator! Shane connects. The kendo stick snaps against Dupree's larynyx, both men are badly hurt.
The ref checks Dupree, he appears to be out cold.
After a few tense moments both men start to move. Shane gets up first and irish whips Dupree into the ropes. An exhausted Dupree falls into the ropes. Shane grabs him and irish whips him again into the rope strand opposite of them. Shane takes a huge Leap of Faith into Dupree. Both men are down again. Shane goes for the cover. 1...  2...  2 1/2!!! Dupree somehow kicksout at the last possible second. Heenan wipes the sweat from his brow, Vince starts to scream at Shane to get this over with.
Dupree tries to get to his feet, Heenan pleads with him, but Dupree crashes back to the mat. He is knocked goofy.
Shane takes a quick conference with the irrate chairman.
As Shane has his back turned, Dupree gets to his knees and crawls over to Shane. Low blow! Shane crumples to the mat.
Shane rolls around on the mat in agony.
Dupree latches on a headlock to Shane.
Shane starts to recover.
Dupree releases the hold. Shane gets up, Dupree takes Shane down with a drop toe hold. Dupree goes for the cover. 2 count!
Shane makes a weak bid for Dupree's legs, hoping for a takedown. Dupree elbows Shane in the back of the head.
Dupree jams Shane with a slam. Shane takes it and gets to his feet with a look of evil intentions etched on his face.
Shane swings at Dupree. From the outside Heenan reaches into the ring and trips up Shane.
Heenan gets in the ring and holds up Shane. Dupree goes for a dropkick. Shane ducks out of the way, Dupree dropkicks Heenan right out of the ring.
Dupree looks down at Heenan in horror. Shane goes to the top rope. Dupree turns back around and looks for Shane, but Dupree sees Shane too late. Shane flies off the top and catches Dupree with a flying head scissors. Shane lands on top of Dupree in a pinning predicament. 1...  2...  2 1/2!!! Dupree kicksout of certain disaster again!
Vince gets into the ring and starts screaming at Shane. Shane tries to calm Vince down while the ref tries to put him out. Dupree gets up and jumps on Shane, Dupree starts to choke Shane out.
Shane breaks the choke and starts to jab at Dupree. Dupree ducks a jab and gets behind Shane and rakes his back.
Dupree nails Shane with a shoulder block that takes Shane down. Dupree goes for his patented elbow drop. Dupree connects with it. The cover! 1...  2...  2 1/2 as Vince pulls Dupree out of the ring!
Vince decks Dupree. Vince throws Dupree back into the ring, Shane latches onto him. Vince gets a trash can from under the ring and brings it into the middle of the ring with him. He smacks it into Dupree's head.  Vince winds up for another shot. Heenan is in the ring! Heenan knees Vince in the guts. The trash can goes flying. Heenan and Vince roll out of the ring fighting.
Dupree breaks away from Shane and dropkicks him in the mush. Both men are down.
Vince beats up Heenan enough to be able to grab a steel chair. Vince pushes it into the ring. Shane picks it up and gets up and waits for Dupree to rise. Dupree gets up, Shane takes Dupree's head off with a chair shot the echoes throughout the arena! Shane goes for the cover.

Shane powers back to his feet. The end may be near for Dupree. Shane throws Dupree into a corner. Dupree crashes in hard and goes down. Shane climbs to the top rope yet again. Shane makes the signal, he is going COAST TO COAST! Shane hits with thunderous impact. The cover!

Indeed. Good match, great tourney. I'm glad my strategy (pick the guy with built-in recovery and give him recovery items) got me as far as it did. Now I just need to make sure I'm around to jump in on the next tourney.

Congrats, Shane (Daeva) even if you beat my poor Morrison like the red-headed ginger step-child we all know that he really is.
