The biggest names that may show up on Monday Night Impact so far are Jeff Hardy (highly likely) and Rob Van dam (questionable). I hope TNA not to overdo on well-known WWE alumni guys and overshadow their own established stars like last time.

have you been watching TNA for the last few years? Ever since Angle signed they have been overshadowing their own guys. It wasnt too bad with those two but it is sad the second you sign with TNA and your from a different company WCW/WWE your auto-main event at the next event or PPV with a title shot.

I do agree they went a WAYYYYY over board with former WWE/WCW talent with the last monday show. I mean everyone in their brother showed up. I counted what 13 people from outside the company showed up in some way shape or form. It was like they put a sign out front that says "former wrestlers need a job?" then had a bunch of contracts in a plastic box at the front door.

I thought it was hilarious Dixie Carter talked about making household names out of people like AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe, then they have Wolfe lose in 2 min to Burke.. who then jobs to Orlando Jordan.  Brilliant.

it's like i was saying to a buddy a long time ago, just imagine how much WWE Creative is kicking themselves in the ass right now over letting one of the Burkes go Elijah could have come in as E.B. and gotten WAY over or he could come in with a Goofy Gimmick for a heel(really that gimmick didn't work for a Hell) and get WAY over when he turned face, Elijah is one of the MOST Underrated tallents in the Business and should get as much TV time as possible w/o being in our face every 3-5 minutes, i happen to have an insider in TNA and he has been telling me little bits and pieces of what's going on there and have told him how boneheaded it was to let Melissa go but anyone who's reseached that understands why she was wanting let go anyway, and REALLY i'm getting TIRED of TNA bringing in wrestlers that are WELL KNOWN and changing their names... Really Desmond Wolfe... Max & Jeremy Buck... who knows who else they bring in and change their names.. that's ANNOYING, at LEAST we finally have the K.A.Z. Back that's making me happy now if they'll just bring in PL and team him up with Kendrick and have a 3-4 team feud with the Guns & The Young Bucks, then you FINALLY have a good tag feud, not saying that Beer Money vs any established Tag Team isn't a good feud but you get the point.

They have been doing this even before Hogan. When they were on PPV they were talking about all their own stars and "home grown" talent. But when they went on TV it was all about the old farts like Stiner, Jeff, etc. They got away from it a bit now they are right back where they started. Instead of letting us see the talented young guys that we are all watching to see anyways we have to watch re-runs of Thunder from 1996.

Just go through the show and pick out just how many "TNA" guys are being used.  AJ Abyss and Eric Young.....and Abyss and Young are gonna get screwed.  Your other programs...Angle vs Kennedy, both WWE guys.  Pope and Hardy now in the main event, WWE guys.  Nash, Hall and X-Pac...not TNA guys.  Sting and RVD....not TNA guys AND sting loses in mere seconds but completely no sells the lose and brutually attacks RVD.  Your big Destination X X-Division title match, Williams and Moore, again...not TNA guys.  It's brutally like watching Major League 3 Back in the Minors.  Some old familar faces but its the Bush leagues and thats all they are gonna be

In fairness, I'd count Beer Money, Hernandez, Morgan, Williams, Terry, & The Beautiful People as prominent TNA players on the scene.  But really, they aren't in the main program for this rotation.

Eric Young = nWo's Booker T

And for the record, my only problem with the Sting segment is it went on too long.

I dont count british invasion cause they are still relatively new.  Beer Money, the most over team in your company, was reduced to goons for Bischoff.

The British Invasion stable started in April '09 (which was also when Terry was hired by TNA)

Doug Williams has been in the company since 2008

I don't know what your cutoff of "new" is but a year's a friggin' eternity to me in Pro Wrestling what with how fast things change.

Plus they're champs, which means that they're guaranteed to be used in some program.  Some program > no program

I would like to see less Mr. Anderson/Angle and more Sting/RVD.

I would also like to see less Beautiful People and more MCMG. MCMG vs. Generation ME could be an AWESOME feud, if they would give ME a manager. MCMG can talk very well, but I haven't seen much in the way of character from ME. I won't call them spot monkeys or anything, because I think they're gifted athletes, but they do need some more work.

We need more of the Young Bucks (or whatever they are called in TNA). They are amazing, they had some matches in ROH against the American Wolves that would blow your mind. The thing I hate is that TNA made them look like Hardy Boy clones (as far as their look goes).

Question: When did they not look like Hardy boy clones?

When NWA had their show on Dish Network 2 years ago, I thought that someone had built a time machine and brought them into the future.

I'm totally with you though...We need more Generation Me. They could have  a great series of matches with MCMG...if they actually had a real reason to. I'm glad they all 4 have an ultimate x match at the ppv, but there's nothing really they're doing with this whole thing. It's really feeling drug on now.

They could give the belts to either of these teams instead of a thrown together team fo genetic monekys like Morgan and Hernandez.

that...the booking has been all over the place.

with like 20 new guys within a month everyone gets lost in the shuffle. Brooke Hogan gets more tv time than Hernandez, Matt Morgan and about half the other guys.

There are a beavy of reasons....him being hurt is only 1 of them.

actually if anyone, they look more like The Young Lions[York & Matthews] than the hardyz; and i've been saying this from DAY ONE That they brought in so many cruiserweights off  free-agency, GET A G** DA** X-Division TAG TITLES, that way you have a REASON for them to feud, hell great idea here:  Guns vs Young Bucks vs Kendrick/(London) vs Helms/Karagias/Moore[pick 2] vs The New Jersey All-Stars vs The Best Around; Ultimate X match, there's a ratings booster match, but unfortunately we know it's never gonna happen.

They always had that Hardy Boy look, it's just when they hit TNA it was just more "hey, we are trying to look like the Hardy Boys" then ever before.

I think TNA is a mixed bag right now.

Yes the show kept me tuned in this week, but Flair/Hogan in 2010 isn't going to draw viewers like Flair/Hogan 1991 would have.

I'll admit I'm not a big fan of Hogan coming in, and all of a sudden all of his buddies getting a job for the first time in 10 years. Do I want to see Brian Knobbs limp around so he can stick his arm pit in someone's face? Not really.

I know a lot of you are opposed to some of the WWE guys being signed and some I'll agree with. Especially Shannon Moore. Mainly because he showed up and got an automatic X-Division Title match. Totally don't get that one.

However The Pope, Mr. Anderson, Jeff Hardy, heck even Angle are still entertaining I think and that's what it's all about isn't it?

Well I think that was part of the Jan 5th episode where they showed him and Hardy leaving the backstage area both claiming they got what they came for.

Other noticeable dumbheaded things
Sure lets turn Morgan heel after we JUST made him face this fall and after he was finally getting the crowd behind him.
For no reason whatsoever lets turn Beer Money heel too, after Hernandez just gave them a title shot as a show of respect for them as a tag team..brilliant.

Wow, really? I wish more people would stand up to them. I'd like to see him in WWE or back in ROH.
