Here are the other half of the non-Superstar-specific cards.  As you can see, Revo 5 is more about new Superstars than cards for general play, however the Allegiances will offer more options we can expand on, as well as giving their own direct benefits.

I'm impressed with some of the pictures: the WCW one got better from Playtesting IIRC, and the <R> Don't Take This A$$-Whuppin' Personally is hysterical, second-best of the set so far.

So does this mean that Ready To Rumble is this sets only non superstar specific action?

I can't believe I didn't notice it before, but I like how the RMS symbol is in Kennedy's hand.

I love the Faction cards.
My Victoria and 3mw decks thank you for McMahahonism.

Also 4 of the 7 cards you get more pre and mid match to play, pay for themselves.

nWo and winning side are the only ones that "count" themselves.  If you lose your faction team still takes up the slot

Yes it is. It's wasn't for any particular reason, we just ended up designing a lot of maneuvers this go-round instead of blue cards.

EDIT: Your Reach Exceeds Your Grasp is misprinted, it should say "from your opponent's cards or effects". You can use it to escape the restrictions of the Volley trait. This will be corrected before launch.

Not sure if I overlooked this when looking through all the threads dealing with Revo 5 but when exactly are Allegiances played?  As in are they before Venue, Feud, Stipulation, Manager or just considered another event phase card?

1) All Superstar Sets are 6 cards (including Superstar card), Promo Superstars have just 1 additional support card.
2) Due to the addition of Allegiances, a new phase is added, the Allegiance Phase.  It comes prior to the Venue phase and follows the rules of other phases, i.e. both players may play 1 Allegiance or pass, then the phase is completed and the Venue phase begins.
3) With the addition of the Allegiance phase, Revo 5 play allows for the packing of up to 12 Pre-match and up to 12 Mid-match cards in the Backlash, and the maximum number of each allowed in the Ring (Capacity) is now 6 of each.

Seeing the pic for Where the Big Boys Play got me thinking. Is there any chance we might see some WCW or even some ECW Pay-Per-View Events? How about a War Games stipulation card? Not sure how that would work on a one-on-one matchup. It was always my favorite PPV so I thought I'd ask.

War Games gets requested a lot, and the hardest part is figuring out how to actually DO it. Once we figure out what the card actually does, and we can find a rad picture for it, I guarantee we'll find a slot for it in R6.

I just noticed. On "I Know Who Pays My Salary!", the card reads "your oppont" in the second paragraph, rather than "your opponent." I don't know if this has been caught yet or not, but I figured I should mention it, in case it hadn't been.

Awesome. Glad I'm not the only War Games fan. One other WCW question. Will we ever see Vader? He was a massive force there for quite a few years and I would think with his WWF stint there would be some pics available. Also that minotaur helmet thing he wore to the ring would be a perfect pre-match object.

I still think that benoit or lashley  getting +2 hs and +4 dmg using the the original ecw belt and the fire that burns inside is to good.

I'm amused that you used 'Lashley' and 'too good' in the same sentence, ever.  Cheesy

Seriously, the ECW belt can be played first by an opponent or knocked out with Managed by Vince TB, and for guys who aren't on House/Hardcore, the allegiance isn't really helpful, so that's 2 Pre-match slots gone to do - what, dodge Elbow to the Face?  Smiley

Restricted Use still negates the damage modifier the first time, and Elbows usually aren't that helpful past turn 2-3 unless you are Sustaining damage down to 7, but that doesn't help with Lashley anyway, so its a moot point.  Benoit is already strong with his cards, any Pre-match set-up of reasonable strength will make a good deck anyway, heh.

Basically, it was something we discussed in playtesting, but the minor perks for non-ECW guys are flimsy and mean that they are missing out on playing other Allegiances.  So its an acceptable trade-off.

I just noticed. On "I Know Who Pays My Salary!", the card reads "your oppont" in the second paragraph, rather than "your opponent." I don't know if this has been caught yet or not, but I figured I should mention it, in case it hadn't been.
Shoot, no, it wasn't.. thanks.

Hey Creed is there any way that Again with this Crap TB could NOT hit multiple copies of Its time for a Great American Bash, like maybe modifing the text of the card to "when your opponent has two or more non BASH cards with the same title in their ring"? Bash decks have it hard enough and they need their 3 fort, so they can stop Shoot Forearm easier (because any shoot opponent against a bash deck is going to have that advantage, and since most bash cards are hard to get off in the first place...

I know it was designed to hurt McCool decks but can it be modified to not hose Bash decks? I know I would appreciate it Smiley

Clearly its been a very busy time, but here's the answer to this question:

Again With This Crap?!?!? - Throwback
Pre-match Event / Mid-match Reversal
This card is packed as either a Pre-match or a Mid-match.
As an event, this card is -5F; your Pre-match Capacity is +1.  When your opponent has 2 or more non-Superstar-specific D:0 Events in his Ring with the same title, search his Backlash for all copies of that card and remove them from the game, then he searches your Backlash for 1 non-Unique Event and removes it from the game.
As a reversal, this card ignores all reversal restrictions, reverse any card with a title played more than once this turn.  Search his hand, Arsenal, and Ringside for any number of cards with the same title as the reversed card and remove them from the game.
F: 5     D: 0     Unique

Updated card text in blue - I haven't updated the image linked, but it will be updated in the downloaded files.

Somehow working with multi-man matches?  Maybe bring cards back for tag matches, new rules for tag, or multi-man free for all matches?

Cards and exact rules for a survivor series match would be awesome and such.

That's basically taking the Tag Team rules and expanding them to cover 4 vs. 4 (5 vs. 5, etc) with a house rule regarding the cards from the eliminated player staying in the ring or being removed.  We had one of those all set up, Texas vs. Oklahoma, at one of our all-day events... only the Texas team no-showed.  PHEAR OKIE TECH!  Tongue

Sad, because we had their strategy pegged and countered, but oh well...  Smiley

I just figure after all the sets...some more tag team cards for tag matches or free-for-all multi man matches (royal rumble adn such) maybe? Or I shall continue to dream, either, or.
