Since the outcome of this poll is very likely to affect the formats played in the World Championships this year, please post a reply to this poll with your opinions on the formats, as well as if you plan on attending this year or not.

Thanks!

I am attending and have already qualified for the WC via winning ACMT tournament. I feel that there should be at least at least one of each possible formats (even though I don't quite agree with tornado tag being a WC format). the main formats have always been classic, the list should be in my opinion classic,VC,AA,VAA and V Rev. As I see in the poll that no one seems to like rev at least this would open it up a little. Out of those of us that have qualified so far how many actually play tornado tag on a regular basis?

Most of these are important papers...and some of them might be doodles I never had framed...I can't tell the difference in them.

As Commissioner, I feel it's my duty to state the following:

Revolution, like it or not, IS one of the MAIN "Official Formats" of Raw Deal.  That being said, expect either Revolution or Virtual Revolution to make an appearance in the 2010 Raw Deal World Championships.  Which one depends on your input.

The same can be said for Classic.  Whether Classic or Virtual Classic, one of them WILL be represented in the 2010 Raw Deal World Championships.

Cut/Pasted from my first post concerning the WC's formats:

Quote
Ok, no takers? I guess I'll start us off then. (My humble opinions follow.)

In the beginning, there was Raw Deal... (what we now refer to as "Raw Deal Classic".) The game we all know and love. The format that was out there for years.

Then along comes Revolution. Like it, love it, or hate it... without a doubt it changed the game. There were (are?) those who believe that by itself (Revolution Format) it wasn't all that bad. Hell, after Revo 3 came out, I tried it and it seemed pretty damned good even.

Of course with the release of Revolution came the announcement that Revo was (is) backwards compatible with the All Axxess format. All cards printed are legal. (This is what we currently know as All Axxess - not including the Virtual cards, of course!)

Then along came the Raw Deal Players Committee and Creed, along with other original and new rules folks and playtesters. They brought us the gems known as "Revolution 4: Breaking Down the Walls" and "WCW Invasion" (and the Revo 5 set that's currently being spoiled!) Now these cards were designed and playtested with the All Axxess format in mind, so that they would bring more of a balance into the game while supporting every superstar ever released (and bringing in new superstars!) Here we have "Virtual All Axxess" as a format.

I feel that I can pretty safely say those are the "Big Formats" in the game right now. Once again, in my opinion, these four formats should be represented in the main event. (After all, they are the most "tested" formats out there right now!)

Now for the fifth format I'd like to see in the main event???

The one that's been around and seen the most playing time.

Tornado Tag. Again, we held a qualifier with this format back in Worlds '08, and again in World's '09. (It was also one of the 5 formats that could be chosen in Worlds '08 - not sure about the 5 in '09 as I was unable to attend.)

Keep in mind, these are only my opinions so take them with a grain of salt.

(Now off to post the poll to determine the final formats!)
