Yeah I am finding the Champ difficult to beat... He's not impossible, but he is very strong. But I'm sure as Creed may remind, that this is not the place for debate on what's balanced and what not. I'm sure there is a thread for that.

Blasting Champ with Powerbombs and finishers is not going to kill him the way it might kill Rock. You can chip him down with littler moves, and even on your big moves, he loses 4 cards out of his Ringside permanently.

A few things to remember: if Champ doesn't have 5 cards to reveal, or flips a reversal to the move, he doesn't recur. He's a solid meta choice, but unbeatable? I'm not entirely sure about that.

I've been playing him with 7 reversals that work on the overturn, Inferno Match, No Way Out.  Pretty Solid.

You and your dang out of game healing! lol Krystal BB, you're terrible  Wink Yea those burn effects are rough too. Also as Daeva said, he just screws with the meta. Most people are used to slamming in bigger moves and neglect the weenie ones, so The Champ just kinda becomes the solution to a bunch of decks. That's why I like Raw Deal it really highlights knowing what to play and when. Not just mindless draw-play mechanics.

It's an interesting deck, though I'm curious about the I'm Tougher Than Nails, since the recovery is reduced to 0 via Champ's Ability.  Is that in case his Ability gets blanked?

Text of The Champ:
Reduce the number of cards moved from your Ringside to your Arsenal by your non-maneuver cards or card effects to 0.

Text of <R> I'm Tougher Than Nails:
Put all cards from your Ringside into your hand: shuffle all cards from your hand into your Arsenal except for 2.

The Champ should have no effect on <R> I'm Tougher Than Nails.

it still techincally puts all cards from hand cept 2 back in the arsenal.  guess its in case of stall decks and he draws too many cards and needs to put them back?

He'd put 0 cards from ringside to hand, then place all but 2 cards in hand shuffled in

I'd say it works because your ability does say "your cards that move cards from your ringside to arsenal is reduced to 0." You are in fact moving these to your hand first, which would circumvent that then shuffling your hand except 2 back.

Oh 12 Rounds didnt we make a note he had to put a non backlash card under it?  Cause as it is now, he could put backlash cards under it then when he pops it he's shuffling backlash cards into his arsenal

Read the card above for the correct text on 12 Rounds.  I don't know what game you're playing, but in Raw Deal you can never shuffle Backlash cards into your Arsenal.  Wink

And yes, you're right about Tougher than Nails.  Guess I should read cards too, haha.     Embarrassed

Looks like I'm finding room in my Champ deck for Tougher Than Nails...  Smiley

And thus ends the complaints about not getting to use one of Cena's best cards in Champ.

And thus ends the explanation on why Champ has 50 cards... Smiley

Just saying there's nothing stopping him from putting backlash cards under 12 Rounds is there?

Yes, we got that loud and clear.  It's just like existing effects that try to shuffle Backlash cards into the Arsenal and fail.
