Its just you.  lol

The press made WAY too much out of this.  The masked guys were 'terrorists', even though all they did was attack the Undertaker (which makes them hired thugs at best), they were 'arabs' - which sounds more like prejudice from the press writer, since they had no distinguishing racial characteristics under all that black...

I mean, for pete's sake, *I* wear black and I'm neither a terrorist nor an Arab, so....  Smiley

I'll stop here because this was one of the few things that I can't just blow off as 'Vince is an idiot sometimes' and will go into full-fledged rant about, even to this day, haha.

Also, three of the masked men were Gemini and Val Venis.  The whole "Arab terrorist" thing was bullshit.  The only reason they got so much flack was the day it aired was the same day as the London terror attack.  Had that not happened, we'd have probably seen Muhammad Hassan: World Champion at some point.

Argh.  Fixed.

And yeah, D2 - what I'd read was for him to go over Taker at Bash, then challenge ... Batista?  I think it was, the face who was the SD Champion at the time... at Summerslam.  He had MASSIVE heat and I still say they could have salvaged that by just renaming him and dropping the Hassan CHARACTER, but we're moving back towards that rant again, so I'll just let it go.. There 2 problems I always saw with Hassan.  1.  He couldnt wrestle.  And i dont mean the "You cant wrestle" that fans chant at wrestlers, he just flat out sucked, he always seemed to mail it in.  2.  He didnt give 2 craps about the business as he was just there for the paychecks and wanted to get noticed in Hollywood.  Not to mention the guy as Hassan would have been better off as a member of the Full Blooded Italians lol

Love the cards and looking forward to the next set of spoilers. Don't know if it's already been caught, but The Samoan Scream says, "As a reversal, reversal any non-maneuver card..."

You guys make me feel lime I keep saying the same thing, but these three superstar sets are truly the best looking cards you guys have made yet. The photo selection and accompanying color contrasts of the cards are fabulous. I only wish I could see them in foil. This comes before I really gave the text a good reading. Great job and thanks again fellas.

I agree that most of the pictures look very good.  The only exception to me is Managed by Davairi.  That picture bothers me for some reason.

Understandable, the source isn't as good as I'd like.  But let's face it, there's not a lot to go on for Hassan.  Sad  I had originally said that it'd be great if we could make him, but there was no way we'd have the pictures for it.  Lo and behold, there was JUST enough in the Smackdown archives in his last couple months with WWE to get enough to get by.

And while most are the usual good quality pics WWE.com has, that Manager pic.. eh.  I understand where you're coming from.  -sigh-

I could just be nitpicking here...or my memory is failing me but shouldn't Angle be able to pack Managed by Diavari?  I'm pretty sure he managed Angle for a decent amount of time(like a few months or so) after Hassan was dropped.  Either way good cards...and thanks for inspiring me to want to build a heat deck with someone other than Snitsky or Jericho.

Daivari did manage Angle, Mark Henry and The Great Khali, but the question is does another logo(s) really need to be thrown on to the card? Some cards just don't fit thematically with certain superstars and though they technically work there is no reason to do it.

Agreed, same reason neither version of Managed by Sherri Martel had Shawn Michaels logo.  Doesn't really fit... and for Daivari/Angle, it didn't last long at all.

That is one of the things I really like the most about this whole project you guys are doing. You give everyone a different and unique experience. There aren't really any weak cards and I don't think too many over powered ones either. Throwing a bunch of logos on to every card just because you can would break that. The Rev 4/5 team isn't trying to sell starter decks by stacking logos so there is no need.

Exactly, I like having logos added for flavor if it make sense, but too many logoed cards will take away from the rest.

I can't get over how awesome the picture of Santino's Headbutt is.  And of course, that quote is rock solid, too.

We wanted to make the Headbutt all along, but apparently the WWE camera crew all had their cameras pointed elsewhere when he did one, so we had a placeholder until literally two weeks ago when Creed found that photo and immediately made the card.

The placeholder is still in the set, but you won't see it until the very end.

Thank you for the Hassan character stuff.  I loved the character when he was in the WWE and was super psyced when I thought we were going to get him in Raw Deal.  I was hella-pissed when they got rid of him for BS.  keep up the good work.

I love the fact that Umaga is in the jungle. And the fact that Umaga is the new lord and savior of Beg for Mercy.

That would be awesome if he could pack it. It isnt a hybrid action. He gets it not, although that would be awesome.

Although Denville NJ pretty much kills Umaga though. lol

Denville, New Jersey
Pre-match Venue
All players search their Arsenal for any number of hybrid Reversal cards and remove them from the game. Then, all players search their opponent's Arsenal and if they find more than 6 hybrid Reversal cards (if their opponent does not have an Enforcer card revealed, do not count Superstar-specific, Set-up, or Volley cards) their opponent loses the game via Pinfall Victory. All players shuffle their Arsenal.

So who says I'm not packing 30 non-hybrid maneuvers, or some of them are hybrid maneuver/actions? Diving Takedown is sexy, you know.

EDIT: Okay, that applies more to Dallas than Denville, but it IS possible to build Umaga and be Denville-compliant and Dallas-compliant. With Hometown Hero flying around, it's not a bad move.
