So as I've mentioned a couple places, the cards from R4 are slowly (as time permits, and that's a VERY large set, heh) being converted to the high-resolution Revo 5-style instead.

My question to you guys is.. if we post the first few cards, which NON-SUPERSTAR-SPECIFIC cards would you want to see first from Revo 4?

EDIT:  In other words, which CARD TITLES, lol

I'll throw in a vote for the backstage cards.

Well, if you want more specifics, the three Enforcer cards.

Backstage gets my vote too, followed by prematch then maneuvers/actions.

Can't wait to see my mug on a crisp clear backstage card, though!

Huh?

Which cards do you want to see?

"The cards"

Care to rethink that?  lol

EDIT:  I suppose I have to split hairs here, sigh.  Which CARD TITLES....

Yeah if it's non-superstar stuff then Backstage first then Prematch and actions. As for particular cards I'm ok with any of them.

Btw, thanks for all the extra work with all of this stuff Creed. Looking forward to seeing the rest of R5. Cool

Don't Be "That" Guy (my #1 pick, obvious reasons.)
Old School Wrestling Match (tb)
Premier WWE Superstar (tb)
(as well as the multi "classic/revo" maneuvers - Whirlwind Kick, etc.)

(P.S. - I still want a "Ron Jeremy" artwork customized BYE Superstar!)

Heck I'm just glad we're getting high res versions  Grin Anything would be fine in my book. But if I must mention one card I always thought the ECW enforcer was hard as heck to read.

I thought it would be tacky to bring up Enough Shenanigans since I'm on it and all, but it does feature a snazzy new picture...

Backstage Cards.... okay.
'Crossover' moves... okay.
Pre-match BASH cards... okay.

Enforcers.  Um.  That will take a bit of time, because I have to make a hi-res template.  Not sure if I'd be better off with a scan and reworking the background, or just building one a piece at a time like the Title Belts...  But its going to be a while.  Sad

But let's get a few of these up, say...

...right now?  One from each of you.

Yes, these are legal NOW since they are the same versions as the latest R4 copies.  I'll do more as time permits...  Smiley

I have a question regarding R4 cards (at least the ones you haven't updated yet). Do we have to use your images in events? I have some that I cleaned up the readability on that I'd prefer to use, but I wanted to see if that was cool first.

The cards are already free, allowing a bunch of knock-offs is.. not really good.  Trust me, I've seen some TERRIBLE knock-offs of R4 cards to date.

The updated versions are coming, soon as we can get them.

What cards were you concerned about?

I'm inclined to say no just to save our tournament organizers' sanity. When you make an alternate version of an R4 card, there's no guarantee that the text will stay the same, either through a typographical error or through a reading error (Taunted by Cheating Fans instead of Taunted by Chanting Fans, for example). As Creed noted, the cards are already free. Making your own versions would be akin to proxying cards, which has always been illegal.

When everything is done, these will replace the old R4 download links and you'll never have to see those old, low-res cards again.
