We'll post this a day early, maybe a few people leaving for GenCon (not me Sad ) will get one more sneak peek this week, heh.  Here's the remaining new Tag Teams of the set...

Just a reminder, the people who worked to make these card images have requested.. DO NOT post them somewhere else.  Thank you.

Might be, or from some match in Japan.  Kaientai was THIS || close to not getting made because of the major pictures issues, but hours ... weeks of pursuing what could be found on the internet got us just enough for what we needed.

(Though sadly we had nothing remotely resembling the camel clutch + drop kick combo we wanted to use, so we get the elevated move instead, sigh)

I'm still disappointed they don't have some kind of bonus for playing It Pays to Be Evil.

I've never played a Funaki deck without that card, just on principle.  I was equally disappointed with Baron back in the day for not having an Indeed card.

Never going to happen. That wasn't Kaientai's phrase, after all, that was shouted by that crazy Japanese guy that they brought around for, like, two weeks.

Yamaguchi-San.  Darn Vince Russo.

But yeah I think you're right Creed about that being a Japanese pic.  It's definitely one of the Tiger Masks who never worked for Vince.  Plus I don't remember Funaki with face paint like that during the WWF Kaientai run.

He was actually around quite a while.  When Kai En Tai first started, it was Funaki and those other two Japanese guys, and they were rivals of Taka Michinoku.  He was their manager then and until after Taka joined the group.  When the other two guys broke off he disappeared too.

I bow to your superior Kaientaifu, Joe. Regardless, it doesn't fit with the TAKA and Funaki version of Kaientai and finding a picture for it will be nearly impossible. It's as close to never going to happen as I would ever venture to go.

I almost commented on that as my first comment after going through them, but being Evil was a bigger priority for me.

Actually there were 3 other members of Kai En Tai.  Shiryu(Kaz Hayashi), Dick Togo, and Mens Teioh.  Funaki joined the group when the imported the group to the US.  the other members in the japanese stable(before they came over) were Hanzo Nakajima, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Gran Hamada and Super Boy.  In fact the original group was called Kaientai Deluxe, or Kaientai DX.  they obviously had to drop the DX part when they came into the US Because of Degeneration X being big.

Sorry I am a big fanboy of Kaientai.  I have been since they showed up in Japan's Michinoku Pro wrestling.

edit: and Tajiri being left off the Japanese Flag.  Meh.

On the card "...And There are Losers" in the text box you have a period instead of a comma. "As a reversal. reverse ..." Other than that cards are all looking amazing. Keep up the great work! Smiley  YOKOZUNA!!!

No, see, the card is annoyed. It can't imagine that you'd ever want to play it as a reversal, so it's just like, "As a reversal. <sigh> Fine, reverse any..." =P

No, seriously, that'll get fixed. Thanks for the report!
