You'll notice that Collegiate Champions TB is pretty much the same as the old one, minus the end-of-Pre-match text. So if we design someone down the road who we feel warrants letting them pack Collegiate Champions, you can chase down the three-logo UR or print yourself a Throwback one.

Not being Smackdown! makes the OG way better.

Also, didn't the originally posted Kozlov have way better art?

LAWL... so people complained about Kozlov in uniform, so we switched it to his more current look, and people complain about that one, too.   Roll Eyes  Just can't win some days...

BTW, I think you meant the TB, not the OG, on Collegiate.  Wink

I liked the uniform picture of Kozlov, but the current picture seems more accurate for his current character.

Vladimir Kozlov's reversal, "You are nothing! I deserve better competition!" have two non-trademark wordings on the text, is it suppose to reverse multi?? or just typo error??

No, those are two different maneuver types: Trademark, the Revolution maneuver type, and Trademark Finisher, the Classic maneuver type. You Are Nothing can reverse any card that is not one of those two maneuver types. Examples: it can reverse the Boom Drop (High Risk) and <Revolution> The Unforgiving Ladder (Extreme) but it cannot reverse Trouble In Paradise (Trademark Finisher) or <Revolution> Edge Clipper (Trademark).

Dilbert is correct. Kozlov's reversal is worded to be Revolution-compliant, he can't stop The West Coast Pop with it even if there's a Revolution logo tacked onto the front.

Anyone given a crack at a Kofi deck yet?  I'm trying to decide between a bunch of different ideas and have deck builder's block right now.

I get the impression he'd be pretty bonkers FF chain.  They can dump 2 and reverse a move, then you continue the turn and toss a chain high risk at them.  Not to mention his ACEs all make your opponent dump cards if they are reversed.

One of my local players (a somewhat eccentric person, he insists on putting one copy of Tiger Bomb in every RVD deck) wants confirmation that you still need the fortitude to play high risks with Kofi.  That's the way it works right?

Also has anyone cracked Beth Phoenix yet?  My local play environment doesn't allow Revo cards which is making a build for her a bit more complicated (they are allowing the multis they just lose the Revo and become grapple/grapple)

If something doesn't say you get -F or you get to 'put it in your Ring', you always need Fortitude to play the card, yes.

Isn't that like saying all of Tazz's suplexes are now D:0 Strikes?  Smiley  I guess it can work, but we intentionally made them that way because they aren't any harder to reverse as, say, Grapple + Hold than Grapple + Grapple, and some of her cards' effects require her having 6 or more maneuver types in the Ring.  To be fair, they should also let you drop that number to 4 or even 3.

Or, pfft, what's in a name... let you play it as Grapple + Zebra, or Submission + Eggplant.  Either way its the same result, haha.

I am now begging ya Creed to put Eggplant in as a maneuver type at some point either in SNME or Revo 6.

But yeah I made the same argument.  The problem is I only bought half a box of Revo 1, ten packs of 2 and nothing of 3 along with starters

I'm with sutekh. Just needs the right superstar. Something like:

Moppy Attacks! (Saturn Logo)
Trademark Finisher + Eggplant: Foreign Object
F: 25 D: 25
When this card is in your Ring or Ringside, your Foreign Object cards are now Domestic Objects.
When any player successfully plays a Domestic Object, he may draw the third card in his Arsenal.
Unique

"Monkeys learn sign language so they can tell dolphins they love them." - Perry Saturn

... OK, maybe that belongs in Raw Deal Unglued, but still. Saturn's gimmick was just crazy enough for this card to make sense.

YOu need additional text

"If you have, or you successfully play faceplant, in your ring area, your opponent cannot reverse any card with egg, face or plant in the card"

This will be fun with face cards. Are there any cards with egg or plant in the card?
