I'd have to say either Shelton Benjamin or Bookerman. Both have crippling abilities but it's rare to hear about any great shelton or bookerman decks running around. Honestly I always thought that bookerman's ability was broken, even more so now with the volley pre-match that makes you not take damage from reversals. Removing the top 5 is a huge price to pay to reverse a maneuver.

Bookerman and Shelton are definitely considered two of the better decks in the game.

Honestly I would have to say Team Angle is one that never really gets much credit, but their ability really is quite good.

If I had to choose one superstar ability that is overlooked...I would most definatly have to go with a three way tie between Road Dogg, The Dangerous Alliance and The Mexicools.

Dangerous Alliance has an awesome ability. I've had people ask me "why not just build E&C?". Arguments can be made, but they are most certainly two different builds entirely. The only problem they have with the common raw-dealer is something I actually love facing: They don't tell you how to build them. Some players need a push in a certain direction to build a deck, but D.A. let's you do whatever you want...aside from packing some cards that allow your opponent to draw up to 3, they are a very open but very dangerous (see what I did there? LOL) book.

Road Dogg, aside from Rev 4 and beyond, only received support for one set. His ability is very awesome, and is most commonly played when you are ahead or equal in fortitude. Most decks I've seen tend to try and stay equal or just barely ahead as the deck is effective hyrbid or mono-red. Stay ahead or equal (BASH pre-match with Straight Shootin' Interview for Shoot Counter can help) and just mill 3 a turn until they are dead. My personal favorite Dogg design uses Thrust Knee Lift (I love this card) to discard for the ability, then removes 2 from thier ringside pile to put itself back on the bottom. I think his card support is just amazing: Tori/Help is on the Way, Two Words, Kickin the Shiznit are good for sure, but Let's Make Some Noise in my opinion is his greatest card. It's one of those cards that hasn't really been duplicated. This is the reason his virtual card interacts with it. (The way I see it any way.) His finisher? Take it or leave it. I mean it's nice that it's low in F to play, and it doesn't do the most damage...but this does fit his deck build perfectly. Combine this with perhaps Dynamic Finisher and you're set on a backup plan in case the milling isn't doing the job.

Mexicool! The ability is SO versatile: Grab Tech Bear Hug to re-use cards like Divine Intervention. Pull off a move, use ability for a high-rish or a set-up...and their superstar specific maneuvers are very very nice. The pre-match card is cute, nothing too strong but still nice to have to either add a little damage, reduce a little F, or stop a maneuver when you are in a pinch.

Moolah is pretty underrated. She has one of the best abilities in the game, but some of the crappiest drawbacks and most mediocre support.

Jame Noble is another one that's highly underrated. I enjoyed playing him quite a bit back in the hey day of the game.

Tajiri

Agree with you here. Didn't realize how crazy strong Tajiri was until I got hit with the same Standing Drop Kick TB card for 3 consecutive turns. He's got a Blindside Kick waiting in the Ringside just in case, and Technical Drop Kick feeds both parts of his ability quite nicely. He's got a mini-Batista thing going on as well, with his reusable Double Face Kick acting as a Spinebuster TB, reversal-wise. Kick of Death twice, thrice in a game? Yeah, Tajiri's quite an underrated beast alright.

...besides that little perk of the Trapping Head Butts from Kozlov's set.  That's more 'Why did Al never get this, back in the day?'  Smiley

I agree that Bookerman and Mexicools are really underrated.

I am going to add Christian to this list. No one really knows how much that blanking of drawing hurts until they play against him.

I'm surprised I don't see more Tazz around. BOD also seems to have vanished off the face of the earth. Phenom has a good ability, starting with 4F off BASH. TB Chris Benoit could also be quite fun.

Shawn Michael's ability looks Meh at first glance, but that 15 cards really gave him a fair bit of staying power.

BASH Tazz is nice. Pop down a pick your spots and bam you are throwing multi 0/8 grapples first turn that you can search for.

I like this build alot, but instead of Pick Your Spots I prefer ECW title with Champ is Here.

And I still play BoD, but only B2B for some weird reason.

I went 4-3 in the last qualifier I played in with Brothers of Destruction... it was the LCQ in Detroit and I had a lot of fun playing them.  They're a very interesting switch deck because if things start to head south, Paul Bearer is a DISGUSTING manager for them and you can swap over to turtle-ing just to survive.

It's an old build mind you, but I went the Houston Texas/Old-School Psycology pre-match route. (You both draw six, discard down until the card says, then you drop your Old-Schools and they have to discard the rest of thier cards. If things go right they'll start with a tiny hand. Just swing B2B maneuvers at them and pick up the ones you need with your ability. Pack things like Shoot Counter and For the Love of the Game to help you get fortitude. Dirty Taker is also nice as it's irreversible. Don't forget Brother's Till the End at 10f when things get tough. I play them RAW so they can use Raw and Ready (since they cannot oversell) which is amazingly awesome in a B2B build.

Tajiri i can attest to, i played him HBTO for a long time and came in 2nd 10 straight tournaments with him and no one really could figure out why he did so well and still brushed him off as "worthless" in my area.

BG James, yes Bash or Heat with him screams i'm gonna sit here ahead in fortitude, and just reverse everything ya throw while milling ya out, a very underrated and very less played superstar indeed, only because up till R4 he had only 5 cards of support.

Matt Hardy, Fun to play as, with or without V1, personally most fun deck I've ever played, the ability to just sit and sponge back every point of damage your opponent does to you for just playing maneuvers is ALWAYS fun, hehehe.

James Gibson, yes him + Nidia + any amount of sponging *beg for mercy* equals unless ya have an insta win condition ya will not pin him, and the ability to just pluck back any answer ya want from ringside after your opponent's maneuver is succesful = gravy.
