Raven is one of those guys that we're looking at to see if he needs a leg up.

Might I put in a request for some Team Angle love??? Those boys need some help too!

As somone who's trying to experiment with this, I'll second this for now and keep detailed notes for future prove-outs.

My only thought with them now is WCW tag belts and use the 0/7 with the new ability (hold and throw replaces grapple and sub right?) and throw un-elbowable revo moves to get started

I gotta say, I did miss the old Piper avatar.

I was fnally able to get on an actual computer to fix it. I don't know where it had gone or even how long it was gone for.

Well what else does he need?  ECW One Night Stand helps balance out the overturn on his ability all I could see is keeping his FOs safe from non unique hybrid reversals  Wink  so no sidewalk slams for opponents particularly

Raven got support with the Flock Interferes and the Masterpiece.  Flock Interferes is nice, but doesn't get him near where he needs to be.  (Does add chain as another possible direction though.)  Masterpiece was huge in getting him back to playable with the recyclable playground, irreversable superstar specific actions, and actually making Nevermore a more playable card.

Raven could easily get indirect support.  Something he'd really like to see are some 6F (or possibly 9F) foreign objects.  3F objects give everyone else as easy a time using the objects as Raven.  6F however, gives him an edge.  9F lets him use them off the bat if he uses a venue too.  Although TB kendo sticks were far better than old kendo sticks, I felt it directly weakened Raven since it made everyone else able to use them as well as he could.  Tables are now the only foreign object he's left with at 6F, unless he goes face and plays take your own medicine.

A throwback drop toe hold wouldn't be a bad thing for him either.  (He already gets the +5D, but since the card pretty much bites, does he ever use it?)

There are plenty of signature moves and other stuff that he doesn't have directly in the game:

Raven's Drop Toe Hold? (Give a bonus for chairs as an alternative to using the normal one with playground)

Raven's Russian Leg Sweep into the Rail?

Raven's Bulldog (I already like running bulldog with him, too bad he was never around to get a throwback to get the draw text added to him like Rock did with spinebuster)

The Black Ninja Strikes - (Unique Reversal 7F, 2D, Reverse any Strike, Grapple, Submission or High Risk maneuver and end your opponent's turn.
If played from your hand, take 3 cards from your Ringside pile and shuffle them into your Arsenal.)

Seven Deadly Sins - Something based on his heat plot?

Anyway, lots of untapped Raven stuff, even without dipping into WCW, TNA, and ECW stuff

I would not say that Drop Toe Hold bites. A 10D Grapple that rips a card out of the opponent's Ring is fairly nice. I'd be more inclined to protecting or Multifying the old Drop Toe than making a Throwback and worrying about B2B with it.

Hmmm, ... Im not one to think Drop Toe Hold/ Chairshot really needs help, it seems like its fine especially with the new support.

I think what Raven could possibly use is a circumvention of his ability, say a way deal damage without throwing as many maneuvers like an effect to boost the damage of Foreign Object Actions

PS: this is way off topic, but as for Revo 6 has anyone thought of Throwback'ing Over the Barricade, Into the Barricade and their ilk to make Falls Count Anywhere a little better off?

Jericho's ability is alright.  It's the card support that doubles his ability and makes the discard random that makes him truly awesome.
