RDPC PREMIER EVENTS
Here you'll find a list of all Premier Events being held for the 2011 Raw Deal season. Each event listed here will be considered a "World Championship Qualifier", with the winner(s) of said events receiving an invitation to the 2011 Raw Deal World Championships, to be held at GenCon Indy, August 7, 2011.

RDPC 2011 World Championship
A few points of interest about the 2011 Raw Deal Championships and Last Chance Qualifiers:

The 2011 Raw Deal World Championship will be held on Sunday, with two additional "last chance" qualifiers being held each day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. (*Note: We are dropping down to 2 LCQ's each day in order to allow attendees and organizers more time for the other GenCon events and Indianapolis goodness!)

Unfortunately, these events won't be listed in the Event Calendar at GenCon, but will be held in the same hall as it has the last few years.

As per the previous RDPC World Championship rules, anyone who has qualified after the 2010 worlds at GenCon is automatically qualified, and can enter, as well as the Current World Champion, Justin Meyers (although you must get yourself to the event!)

Current list of players qualified for Worlds 2011:
Justin Meyers (2010 World Champion)
Vick Babikian (2011 Adam Crites Memorial Tournament Winner)


WC Qualifier Special Rules:
Anyone who has already qualified for the Championship CAN play in another qualifier, and win the qualifier. If that happens, the slot in the Championship goes to second place. If second place is already qualified, the slot would slide down to third place. This will happen all the way until you pass outside of the top Cut. If all players who make the top cut are already qualified, there will be no new players qualified for the WC's.


Regional/National Championships:
We would like to put a special emphasis on Regional and National Championships this year. If you are interested in running a Premier Level Event in your area, please contact me (MediumSexy) here on TCO via PM, and we'll be glad to fill you in on all the requirements.

PER ORDER OF THE COMMISSIONER:

Here's the lineup for GenCon

Thursday August 4th
12pm - Virtual Revolution
 6pm - Tornado Tag

Friday August 5th
12pm - All Axxess
 6pm - Virtual All Axxess

Saturday August 6th
12pm - Classic
 6pm - Virtual Classic

Saturday Night
12 midnight - Virtual Classic Last Chance Battle Royal (using Battle Royal multiplayer rules)


World Championships
Sunday August 7th
11am - Raw Deal World Championships

For the World Championship itself, bring decks for the following formats:

All Axxess
Raw Deal Classic
Revolution
Virtual All Axxess
Virtual Classic

(At least one format will be voted out of the WC's itself by the participants. Also, after Top 4 is announced, each player will choose one of the formats to not play, the remaining 3 will be played in random order for a best 2 of 3 series.)

Also, I will post my cell number (temporarily) once I get up to GenCon so if you get lost and/or need directions, I can try to help you out. Hopefully one or more of the other staff there can do the same, since I'll be making the trip with my wife and son, and won't be available the entire time.
