OK, so everyone knows I'm a Phillies fan. Some might also know that for their World Series preview, they had a "separated at birth" feature in which they said that Phillies right fielder Jayson Werth and the WWE's Edge could've been such. I took this idea and ran with it, eventually doing a rewrite of a particular song which (in my own little world) would play whenever Werth hit a home run. Here goes.

THE JAYSON WERTH SONG
(Sung to the tune of "Metalingus" by Alter Bridge)

At this game
I swing freely
And it's headed deep for right
*insert Harry Kalas "OUTTA HERE!"*
Phillies up by 3
And we'll leave the East behind
At this game
I swing so freely
And it's headed deep for right
Not a chance
To chase it down
Not a chance to field
Chance to field the ball

Is there an instrumental version of "Metalingus" out there? I'd like to record my version before Werth leaves in the offseason.
