It hasn't gone unnoticed. There's a reason why we haven't been encouraged to rush to give you trade access.

It means that you've been more argumentative, and have been causing more disruptions then positive contributions to the community. It's not that you're not going to get access, it's just that someone who seeks to provoke confrontation doesn't come across as the best person to trade with.

That + posting NSFW images in your avatar. As much as I like "Personalities", and "Diversity", and don't want the boards filled with Yes men, I am protective of the trading environment we have here, and for the most part over the last several years there has been little to no drama, and I would like it to remain that way.

You make it seam like I was searching for someone to argue with & thats not the case at all. I'm not going to appologize for not telling someone who was wrong that they were right.

As far as the images go, I don't see how my 1st avatar was inapropriate, it was a magazine cover that had no nudity in it, but it was changed & I didn't complain about it at all. I sent the person who changed it a pm with an appology saying that if there is a problem with another avatar of mine to let me know & I would change it no problem. But again, I don't see how this avatar is inappropriate if thats what your getting at.

If 'you don't see what the problem is', remember that you're in some one else's virtual house.  You didn't set this site up, you don't pay for it, you're a guest.  Just picture someone walking in your house, picking a fight with you, drink your favorite beverage in the fridge and change the channel on your TV.. then say 'Gee, I don't see what the problem is', and maybe it will start to set in.

This will be the last I post of this. All i'm gonna say is, i'm not gonna stop speaking my mind, & I think it's wrong if i'm gonna be held out of the trading section because of it. i'm sure i'm not the only person that argues with people but wonder if anyone else the same reaction because of it.

If you guys don't like that I speak my mind feel free to ban me from the site because i'm not gonna stop just cause I may annoy someone. If someone is wrong i'm not gonna laugh & agree with them, i'm gonna tell them thier wrong. & if you look back at the posts that when the arguing started both times. those 2 people didn't like being told they were wrong & so started the seemingly endless arguing.

Like I said, ban me if you want & if you do I give you my word i'm gone, I will not try to get back in under a different name.

As you wish, but understand we've had this system for years.  People who try to 'stand up for themselves' are usually just trying to justify troll-like behavior, then want trader access after causing grief and disruption - so yeah, they usually end up getting the boot because they keep stirring things up.

It's not a cool 'being a rebel, speaking my mind' kind of thing.  It's more like 'what's wrong with that guy that he can't follow simple rules?', think of the guy trying to jam a square peg into a round hole while demanding his 'rights' and making wild justifications.  lol

So .. do as you wish, but considering TCO has been around for many years, and you've been here a couple weeks, no one's going to see you as the 'wronged victim', trust me.

It's not about banning or quelling healthy debate and disagreements. Brian and company just like to see more positive contributions before they feel comfortable giving trade access. Hang in there you will get it.

Piper is totally correct. Me, personally? I don't like to have to moderate threads. I'd be really happy if I never had to use my modly powers again. So when people prompt me to have to say "Calm down or I'm going to start moderating this thread," it makes me unhappy. That doesn't instantly communicate into the person never getting trade access, certainly, but when I have to sit down and look at doing that person a favor, I do pause for a moment and wonder if it's worth my time. I am human, after all. I try to be fair to everybody, but I'm not a robot and I don't function from BASIC commands, so how I feel naturally sways my decisions in even subconscious ways.

Just one fella's opinion. Take it for what it is.

The problem is if you look at half your posts your arguing with someone and trying to prove people "wrong" for some reason. In fact you've brought up proving people wrong multiple times since you've been here for what three weeks? And you've even called out piper for being "wrong" on the Favre thing in a different thread.

People have been wrong posting thigs before & they will be from time to time forever, like the guy who posted twice that Brett Favre is a Packer again.

And it seems you take everything too literally (ex: Favre is a Packer again, the article from sportspickles.com) or more likely your just acting like you are just to be able to argue with people and act like they are stupid and "wrong". That has forum troll written all over it and I think most people have realized that so far. Not saying you are one but they just have to be careful who they let into the trade area. This site has been around a long time and Goth, Creed, and most users can pretty much tell what users will be more likely to abuse traders just by how they post on this site. They don't want to be "responsible" for letting someone have access to the trade forum then they go and rip off a bunch of people. Again not saying that you would do that.
