Rules Forum / Is this a Modification?

The Dogfaced Gremlin     (Steiner Brothers)
Pre-match Event
Cannot be blanked.  Can be played during any phase.
When this card is in your Ring: your Mid-match Capacity is +1 for every Mid-match maneuver in your Ring, your Beware of Dog cannot be reversed, your Steinerline can be played from Ringside, and your Hold the Phone cards can also reverse a card that 'cannot be reversed'.

Played a game the other day and couldn't decide on this ruling, Would the bolded be considered a Modification? In terms of Frankie and the RMS Symbol

Supershow / 2017 Supershow World Tag Team Championship Address
« on: February 17, 2017, 12:18:51 PM »
Somewhere on Long Island a Press Conference was called by John "MrPeoplesTeam" Polverino, one half of The 2016 Supershow Tag Team Champions; Can I Get Back to You on That?

Mr. Polverino makes his way up to the podium, both Titles on each shoulder, partner Danny Q nowhere in sight...

Mr. Polverino:

"Hello, thank you all for coming here today to Long Island New York. Home of the 2016 World Tag Team Champions, Can I Get Back to You on That?. Before we get into business, we must address the elephant in the room. The fact that I am up here alone without my partner.
Well the truth is there is NO MORE partner. Sometimes you need to take the money and run. Sometimes when you know you are great, but can be even greater than that? Yeah thats how I feel. Don't get me wrong, Danny Q was great. But that's because I MADE HIM GREAT. I taught him the way, It was MY mind that put together the winning formula of the Dynamic Duo we brought to the table, it was my Arm Grinder that Pinned the former 2015 Tag Team Champs round 1, it was the SAME Arm Grinder that sent New Zeland home in Top 4, AND it was MY PRICE POINT that got the ONE TWO THREE to bring the gold back to New York! At the end of the day I have all the love in the world for Danny Q, but sometimes the best needs to go there separate ways and I have no time to be held back! I am the best Supershow Tag Team player in the world, going to become THE best Supershow player in the world come the Championships, But I don't need the likes of Q to take home the back to back titles!

That being said, The Champ is looking for a partner come August"

I am looking for someone who not only feels they are ready for the big show, not only feels they are good, no great, no AMAZING at this game we all love, but has the drive and NEED for Gold like I do. I want someone who wants to team up with THE BEST. The 2 Time Raw Deal World Champion, CURRENT Supershow Tag Team Champion! It is clear I know the way to win, so who out there wants in on greatness?

Over the next few months I will be taking any applications for the position, If you are interested in teaming up, winning, and dominating, Please Shoot me a message here on TCO or on Facebook at "John Polverino"

I am only interested in someone who is READY TO WIN. Someone who knows the game and I don't need to teach them the meta, not someone who will lack communication all the way till the day and tell me "Hey I wanna play Snakepit cause I like him and I won a game or two with him, who you running?"

NO

This will be organized, well thought up and STRATEGIZED. I strategized last year and now I have some shiny gold sitting on my shoulders. I want someone ready and willing to work on countless combinations till we find one that will DOMINATE the entire field!

Please do not post applications PUBLICLY. This is a private matter, everyone will see the end result come August....when it's too late.

WHO WANTS TO WIN A CHAMPIONSHIP THIS YEAR AT GEN CON?!?!?

Nick and IMC have submitted their alternate picks, and are working on deck lists.

Lists will be due tonight by midnight EST for Nick, IMC and Jokerfish

6
Jeeze. Like 10 people, and 3 of them wanted to be doubles.

I have asked IMC2OO2 and Niiiiick to switch superstars as the first submitting was days ago and we are running the first come first serve basis since what happened with Nature Boy last event.

We will be extending sign ups a day, 2 if it's really needed since this was a last minute change (cause the submissions were last minute lol)

Jokerfish this is your extra chance to submit the deck list to RatedSRH otherwise you cannot participate in the event man

THANK YOU

7
For everyone to know. You still gotta send me the superstar. And SRH the deck list. So Niiiiick shoot me a PM on the superstar please

8
12 hours remaining for sign ups AND Deck submissions. Please submit your deck list into SRH before deadline or we cannot let you play in the event! Thank you

General Discussion: Raw Deal / Re: New days clap therapy
« on: February 15, 2017, 06:18:15 AM »
Clap therapy working during the Prematch phase is an issue. There's no need to be able to get a mass HS almost every game on top of the rest of their support

As far as clutch 2x apply goes. Old School Brawl is a very very good card

10
BUMP

So far we have Me Vs. Dilbert, Two participants knowing who they wanna play but too busy being in love rather than submitting checklists and a bunch of other people not ready to go all together!

SIGN UPS STILL OPEN

We close it up Thursday at Midnight EST so everyone has to get their stuff in!  ;D

Gaming Discussion (Everything Else) / Re: Pokemon Sun & Moon
« on: February 12, 2017, 09:09:09 PM »
I completely disagree, the game is great. Has TONS to do in it and this is the first game ever where when you win the Elite 4 you actually ARE the champion. And every time after you Defend the championship.

Story is good length, tons to do after the E4. I enjoy it

12
Your right. Cause when it's all said and done Cena will have 20  ;D ;D

13
Am I the only one who just can't see WWE ripping John Cenas 16th title reign away just 2 weeks after he won it? I can see something leading to a triple threat match at Mania with Cena as the champ, Orton and either AJ or Bray

14
As have I

15
If you read the DECK LIST SUBMISSION protocol, it states you can change your cards around as much as you want prior to the event as long as you send Rated SRH a PM stating the change, even better send him a REVISED DECK LIST so he doesn't have to refer back to the original and then check the changes

Raw Deal Players Committee / Re: World Wide Store Championships?
« on: February 10, 2017, 06:02:16 AM »
Before anything, Gen con is no "local championship" I pay way too much money and travel way to far (probably more than I should) to play in that tournament and be lucky enough to win a championship that has been their for over 15 years. People across America and Canada attend, and everyone is invited, including anyone from Singapore. That is why it's called Worlds. It's up to the world's players to be able to attend. Let's not downgrade the integrity of the event. Gen Con is the WORLD Championship. As 50 something thousand people attend their from across the world. Anyone from Singapore is welcome to come, you don't need a qualifier anymore, just a plane ticket, a badge and your A-game.

That being said, I'm all for it. I always was under the impression that if someone won a tournament they were the champion of that store till next week. But if your proposing a once a year event, where you play a different format (such as Worlds 3 deck format) and a maybe once a year different tournament kit. But like I received last year, I received an alternate art card for the new WWE World Heavyweight belt that was renamed the "2016 Raw Deal World Championship"
We shouldn't have a bunch of those going to local stores. We would have another Daniel Bryan/Kane "No, I AM the world champion!" Situation.

But if you feel Singapore can hold a massive once a year event to name the top guy of Singapore, or any country that wants to do that then by all means that sounds great. That's what the heyday qualifiers were like you had mentioned. I will love to see that happen. If anyone knows me, I care about larger numbers and competition more than an easy event

Lackey Tournaments / T.C.O L.O.I TOURNAMENT PROTOCOL
« on: February 03, 2017, 10:44:53 AM »
We will follow a Round by pairings and top cut format with each round and cut depending on the amount of participants. Top cut usually consists of 4,6, or 8 people

- Sign ups for events typically last 2 weeks, give or take.

- Once sign ups are open, depending the format and rules, Participants will send their Superstar selection to me through a PM, and then once their decks are finalized, send a deck list to the 3rd Party TCO member not participating in the event designated to take the Deck Lists from each player. This MUST be done before signups are CLOSED otherwise the participant cannot play in the event. Once you sign up for the event there is no rush to submit the Superstar and/or deck list. You can submit your Superstar early and then submit your list later on before signups are closed.

- Given past experiences, there will be no double Superstars in an event. We will follow a first come first serve basis. If an event of someone submitting a Superstar already chosen for the event I will notify that player that they must select a different Superstar.

- Each participants decks must remain the same over the course of the event, like a regular in person tournament would be. The deck list you submit in must be the deck you play throughout the event.

- If you have any questions regarding deck list submissions please visit the T.C.O L.O.I DECK LIST SUBMISSION PROTOCOL page.
http://www.teamcanadaonline.net/index.php/topic,17097.0.html

- Each round will last a week from the announcement of that rounds pairings. Please contact your opponent to set up a scheduled time that you both can get your game in. If in the event a game does not complete by the time each round expires then the result the round will be a double loss unless one participant has clearly stated that they have been attempting multiple times to get the game done, but their opponent has been M.I.A. If in the case that the round is going to end and you and your opponent know the game will not be played then you may decide amongst each other who will get the victory, and how.

- Once the round concludes, or once all the games are finished, the next round will be announced shortly after.

- Please do not forget to Save your games. I would save after each turn if you have to. Lackey drops all the time and we don't want a rage quit and then blaming it on lackey. If you have a saved game then you shouldnt have any issues.

- PLEASE do your best to get your games done, if you lose and feel you do not have a shot in the future, please do not just stop paying attention. It doesn't matter to me if you are 0-4, every game is on the same playing field and I will wait the entire week for you to play your game, I do not play favorites, so if you feel you do not want to play anymore please message me and let me know ASAP.
