the deck needs to play pulp mania into its ring area to win generally maybe a wwe power is back but yeah with my way or boa because if you choose to put tech clothesline in there i can play waist lock infinitely b/c of tech crab or if you choose tech crab i can infinitely play tech clothesline so that i only have to play waist lock once, but if someone has my wayed the deck its prolly lost because they get a turn with 8f to haymaker the hell out of it

Brahma doesnt do anything unless you play rules with it because it doesnt need to play a maneuver so yeah
game needs in multiples could hurt but tech bear hug is in there for a reason

Crasher only an action reversal tha does more than six damage can kill the deck because i always have three backbody drop and three thrust knee lift in the arsenal before i play a card

Destaro i think you are a good player and i know you are trying to help but really i can send you the rey decklist and you can play it and try it out before adding anymore...almost all of the things you are saying do nothing against him and the kennedy version they have just there hand to draw reversals because they get no backlash.

Everything the rey deck does however is infinite, literally one of my opponents played 17 reversals and i still won idc about midmatch reversals because i continue and then just pick back up two full nelsons, all of the things you are mentioning i ran into or they just dont matter.
I pwed rules twice, them having lwa,yflaw,boobytrap all dont matter because of eugene gump(just gives them more outs to spin while i am setting up my hand)
In testing only thing that everyone could pack that actually hurt was 2x witte retort and i still beat that 75% or so.
Only things i lost to were hiac bye steph and my own stupidity in round seven because i forgot luck of the draw could reverse pulp mania, i could have just rest holded luck away but i did not so then walsh comboed me back

generally the things that beat rey dont beat kennedy and vise versa(other than piper and rattlesnake face cards) heenan is a completely different deck with really no bad match ups

anyway to keep you're midmatch deck against kennedy is a bad matchup
and rey loses to getting locked in a box other combo decks can beat it if they play prematch screw but if you cant beat it in a turn or two the screw was really pointless then because you will ahve given me all i needed by then anyway

Im sorry that i put alot of work into a deck and didnt want to tell people how to beat it, im sorry i do get a sense of accomplishment from winning a game i love a game i love for its mechanics and because i generally feel that it is the best game out today(and i absolutely hate pro wrestling)...

the deck i played at central new york was not even close to the combo it was basically just a bunch of tech moves and hope to get out rabid if you didnt no big deal that deck was also afterburn and just something we whipped together because we werent playtesting that format and the only game it lost was to laise because i got tricked into thinking how that prematch should go by playing agianst a laise without switcheroo constantly before lcq(deck was just modded version of my lcq deck)

the deck has to play extremely differently against highlights abilty but its far from unwinnable but i would say it is one of the less desirable matchups...but thats only because they have a chance when they sit down across from the deck...and as for the fbi better hope you face the decks in top 32(if you make it with them)cuz they prolly cant beat any legitimate decks

rules can be bothersome in the right deck(basically the already troublesome match ups get a little worse) but i handled it easily twice at gen con and had a tough time with it at origins because of serious cockiness against ewing in the play off for 8th position which was definitely a poor decision

There is truth in this the decklist from origins was posted on ci and no one asked what it did or why it lost, and why would we reveal its secret. the reason goth deleted the posts was because there was new tech that the community on a whole had not seen the up and at ems in the deck which were a huge change/improvment. if it had been the one straight off the sight we could have had no objection

good luck getting past top 32 with rattlesnake lololol he does auto beat the but we knew this and didnt care cuz most respectable players dont play rattlesnake in q's anymore

lol at slingshot its a good idea but only one opponent all day got 28 fort with out killing me(good job adam pesci giving jesse tech)

the balls tech is dumb because there is nothing in the game to reverse it, like witte retort can slow it down but in testing i could deal with 2x 75% of the time and still have only lost to one witte retort once(evil dave at origins) and that was because of a severe misplay on my part and the fact the deck was much worse at that time(no up and at em)

back to my point though we have no way to abuse this in all axcess with out tech drop kick... but i could agree banning fns in aa would be just as fine

we changed the decks after origins by putting duchess to deal with heyman because we thought a lot of people would play him since he won origins...there were none  but anyway i was telling anyone who would listen to ban tdk that card has been broken a different way every set and is the cause of most npe's first it was the heenan deck then kids rey now balls rey and kennedy (heenan isnt really a balls deck it is the back up plan) i think that would be the easiest and least detrimental to the rest of the format

urn you take damage and overturn divine, beforeit gets removed you have the chance to put it on the urn, then you take it off the urn then rochester it back in=infinite divine, they can dttah to slow you down but its still not htat bad

i got that and non move kill is usually slow, thats why i suggested the infinite divine trick, and then you have the shane bash card as a strong kill, also think about spirited turn of events

ran a deck like this divine+urn+rochester was really strong plus then you have bash to kill them
