Because they say Vintage Undertaker! when he does it  Cool

Yeah but then there'd be an entire series of Vintage moves for different superstars.  Michael Cole says that WAAAYYYYY too much.  It's his "Slobberknocker".  Anytime a move is used that doesn't have a Proper Name he just says it's Vintage Them.  Like every Orton match ever.  His powerslam or spike ddt are always vintage Orton.

3  Raw Deal / Raw Deal Online / Re: Error downloading images on: March 31, 2013, 08:13:32 PM
I've seen this happen a couple of times and it may be that your images are in the wrong folder or a duplicate folder.  Navigate to where you saved Lackey.

Should be a LackeyCCG folder.  Then go to plugins, rawdeal, setssetimages.

If, at anytime you are navigating there, there is a duplicate, such as a rawdeal folder inside a rawdeal folder then that's the problem.  Lackey can't see them cuz they are in the wrong place.

In there should be 5 folders, Classic, general, Revolution, VirtualClassic and Virtual Revolution.

If you navigated there with no problem and there was no dupes then look in each of those folders and make sure the images are there.  You should see thumbnails of a lot of cards in each of those folders.

If you don't see those images or those folders are missing, then try downloading the .zip file manually from the link to your plugins folder.  Then right click and hit "extract here".  If it gives you an error message, such as the file is corrupt...then just re-download it and try again, sometimes if your interwebs has a hiccup it'll cause a download to mess up.  If you still can't, try to download a different extraction program.  I recommend WinRAR.  You can google it, it's free.

If you are STILL having problems, send me a message and we can find a time to meet up online and I can help you by remoting into your computer and fixing it.  It's sorta my thing, I've helped other TCO users with this before.  And Lackey is an awesome place to play.  Smiley
4  Raw Deal / Fantasy Cards / Re: The Deadman's Motorcycle on: March 12, 2013, 03:28:41 PM
You can handle a once per game ace as long as there is a definitive way to establish that it's been used. Especially on a card like this who's "static" abilities you may want to keep in play.

Suggestion:

ACE: when this card is in your ring area, if your fortitudeis at least 5 less than your opponent, you may move this card to your Backstage Area and your opponent's non 0F reversals to your nextcard played is +7F.

You may have to clean up the wording, but you get the gist.
5  Raw Deal / Rules Forum / The Total Package and SHS on: March 06, 2013, 12:31:31 PM
My aopologies if this question has been asked and I'm not sure where in the FAQ to look for it.  But does The Total Package prevent non-backstage cards from modifying his SHS.  Not sure if cards that modify SHS are something that try to modify his SS card itself.

Thanks.
6  Raw Deal / Virtual Raw Deal / Re: Soo...the new set has been out for a while... on: March 05, 2013, 10:56:37 PM
Gonna have to say.  After lots of deckbuilding, playtesting, and back and forth action.  I really love this set.  It's a lot of fun, and the meta is going wild.  It's funny because cards from previous sets are really starting to run the meta I've seen.  (Gene and Vickie).  And there's a few people who are too powerful right now.  (I'm looking at you, Zeke and RockNSock)  But overall I really enjoy the set.
7  Raw Deal / Raw Deal Online / Re: Lackey League Week 10! on: March 05, 2013, 10:48:34 PM
The lights in the arena flicker and fade out.   The crowd gives a knee-jerk cheer as it usually means someone major is going to make an appearance.  But soon the crowd goes quiet.  And the silence and the darkness lingers a bit longer than normal.  Random people yell out as the cameras search around.  Soon eyes go to the 'tron as a sound is heard.  The sound of a striking match, and the soft glow of a flame is seen coming from above-camera down into the view of the screen "Soon.  Soon, everything.....will burn..."  and a match drops through the the screen and out the bottom.  A moment later the entire stage erupts in flames.  "BURN!!!"  And maniacal laughter is heard as the flames burn onstage and the camera fades out for commercial.

Yeah man. Me and my friend are pretty stoked to do this. I think I am most excited right now about The Power Brokers vs. Team Zero Tolerance in Round 1. Gonna be a smash fest and neither team will be using a Battlesite.

Does that mean I have a shot? I know next to nothing about this game and I'm hoping I chose well in my cards. :/
9  Games Other Than Raw Deal & UFS / Gaming Discussion (Everything Else) / Re: Round 1 BRACKET UP! - The TCOverPower Tag Team Tournament on: February 28, 2013, 09:21:04 AM
Sentinels: Bzzzt! Error. Mutant genome not detected. Power levels exceed standard parameters. Engaging dampening fields.

Bastion: Didn't see that coming....going to need more sentinels....

(round one paired against galactus.... Ouch.)

Quick question. Why can't some teams use battle sites? I including mine. I I thought the whole perk/balance to playing a lightweight team was a higher chance to get battle sites?

I've seen other people run into this and challenge each other with "dare" superstars.

The one's I've seen other people run on a "dare" have been: IRS, Nidia, Natural Disasters, Snitsky.

Ones I'd like to see:  DDP

I think the new belt looks great.  It's a fresh change and I think the idea of the custom side plates is a good one.  One of the best looking belts in a long time in my opinion.

Actually, I have a question. I was going with sentinels and bastion, as posted before, because I figured it would be cool if they had "shareable" specials. But I want to check, does that mean they only have one shared pool of 16? Meaning they'll run out quickmOr does the pool double up into 32? And is that a good idea at all? I may want to switch choices depending on this answer. Thanks.

Just double checking on the wording and to clarify.  Thanks much!
17  Raw Deal / Rules Forum / Eve's Trademark Moonsaults on: February 16, 2013, 01:16:15 PM
Eve's Trademark Moonsaults
Backstage Card
Once during each of your turns, you may play 1 card from hand face down; it is considered to be a Unique F: 0 D: 8 High Risk with the text "Can only be played after a successfully played maneuver."
Your Fortitude is +5F for each face-down card in your Ring, they are considered to be cards with "moonsault" in the title, and they cannot be flipped over.
Unique     RMS logo

My question is, does actually modify the name of the card played?  I remember in the Virt 5 spoiler thread people saying it appends "moonsault" to the end of the name, but that's not what the card says.  Just says its "considered to be a card with moonsault in the title"

The reason I ask is for cards that have interactions with specific card titles.

For example:

I play "Roll Out of the Ring" as a moonsault.  Could I then follow that up with an Announcer's Table?

I think yes, because it's still titled Roll Out of the Ring, but considered to have moonsault in the title...

However if it becomes "Roll Out of the Ring moonsault" then no.

Just need some clarification here.  Thanks.
18  Raw Deal / Raw Deal Online / Re: lackey for win7? on: February 11, 2013, 06:49:14 PM
Odd. I have win 7 ultimate 64 bit and it works fine without needed to run as admin. If that does clear it up there is a box you can check in properties somewhere to have it always run as admin so you don't have to right click and give permissions every time.
19  Raw Deal / Fantasy Cards / Re: EXCLUSIVE: The Shield Cards are out! (Made by me) on: February 11, 2013, 02:32:59 PM
A few typos, not sure if you want to know about those.

The SS card looks pretty cool!  Not sure what that smokey effect is inspired by, but it's definitely unique.

As far as ability:

Putting pre-match in at the end of opponent's pre-match seems odd.  Would that mean that if you went first in the pre-match phase (higher SSV) that none of your "end of pre-match" effects on your pre-match cards would fire off?  Because the game would check your end of pre-match...none...then opponents, he resolves, then your pre-match flies into play.  Plus no hand size modification.  Not sure if this was an intentional "drawback" due to the rest of their card being way strong.

Triple reversals is insane.  It's like being against' Ultimate Warrior with power of the warrior in play AND he's not limited to B2B moves.  WAY too strong in my opinion.  Plus extra card draw on top of that?  Other superstars with a card draw mechanic have some sort of drawback with it, not an extra ability.

Not sure how to fix that yet still keep your core concept.  Perhaps limit their moveset?  or cause any move they pack to lose all traits other than face/heel?  Triple Chains, Heats or Volleys seem insane.  And speaking of heat....

The backstage card.  Obviously abusable with Blindeside.  But that could be the point...seems that Blindside is a fitting archtype for the Shield. And of course getting re-usable RFG'd reversals, like A Revolution of the Mind, Divine Intervention, Always have a Plan B and TWO!.  But with Heat could you not...play a Heat deck...remove all heat cards with a 5th Anniversary, then shuffle ALL of them back into your deck with that backstage.  Meaning you'd have to go through them twice?

The Trademark

Very cool and fitting for them.  It being a triple works for that card, but 3 Uniques?  And as a mid-match?  pretty insane.  Most mid-match trademark finishers have a "worse" F to D ratio to make up for the fact that they are accessable whenever.

The last card.  Don't think having that do dmg make sense.  I like the action part of it.  The reversal...removing permanent stuff is out of line.  Things are permanent for a reason, especially pre-match cards...like Stips or certain SS-specific stuff that if removed would derail the concept of the deck and cause an NPE.

As is, I love the fact that you are into the game enough to dream up cards and put them together...so please don't think this is me being an a-hole and ripping apart your ideas.  I'm just giving opinions.  But as it stands I could see them heavily abused and I would play them Chain (triple multis with chain trait backed by triple unbreakable chains...seems good)  Or BASH.  (huge bash moves that need 3 reversals to stop, ramp up fort an throw that mid-match finisher ASAP for the gg)  Only thing I'd see stopping them would be bad starting hands...

Anyways.  Good looking cards and I hope the feedback helps!
20  Raw Deal / Tournament Reports / Re: Lackey VC tourney report on: February 11, 2013, 09:44:32 AM
The lackey tournie was a lot of fun, and I recommend to anyone that hasn't checked it out yet to do so.  Lackey is free, very robust and handles the game very well.  Just having it as a deckbuilding tool and card database is HUGE.  Lets you build and playtest decks before you hit up the trade forums or buy-sites for cards only to scrap the deck a week after.  You can play people outside your playgroup and see new and changing metas.  I personally learn new tricks of the trade almost every time I play someone on there.  But I ramble....on to the tourney!

It was hard to settle on who to run, but I elected on a Rhyno Extreme Warfare deck simple because it's a lot of fun to pilot and has a good track record so far.

Game 1:  Rhyno vs. Big Poppa Pump

At first I was like ugh, do I really wanna play extreme warfare vs a guy who can throw HUGE moves straight out the gate?  This seems suicidal...but let's go for it!  So the back-and-forth beating began, me throwing Foreign Objects and him starting out with a couple of "warm-up" moves and then going into huge unique after huge unique protected by There is No Escape and drawing billions of cards via stun.  But Rhyno can take a beating like no other.  Freakzilla hit Rhyno with DOOM moves, the unique multis that have revo move types, The Finisher, Steinerline and even GORE! GORE! GORE! (via own medicine) but Rhyno refused to stay down.  And even after Steiner regened 16+ cards from his SS-specific action, Rhyno pulled it out with a "nuks" shot that resulted in a count-out.

Rhyno wins a count-out via Brass "Nuks" Shot

Game 2: Rhyno vs Ezekial Jackson

My first time playing against big Zeke and a big learning experience for me.  I knew that since it was being piloted by the 2-time champion that it was going to be a rough match.  We both had some solid pre-match meta going on, but I totally underestimated just how powerful Zeke's Anything I Do, I Dominate really is.  And playing Extreme Warfare vs Zeke was like a death sentance because he recurred SO many cards during the course of that game.  Rhyno rope-a-doped for a while..surviving zeke's clothesline and torture rack but eventually Zeke nailed Rhyno with a Blindside takedown and scored the pin before I could get the fortitude for the Gore, my only hope of winning that game.  In retrospect, the game would have been worse for me had I NOT played the warfare, since his deck was full of pain reversals that he could go fetch.  Very strong deck, that Zeke.

Zeke pins Rhyno with Blindside Takedown

Game 3: Rhyno vs Raven

Having run into the sillyness of Raven's Rules before ....I was for the 3rd time this tourney tempted not to drop Warfare, knowing that First Blood match was likely going to come out and all the arsenal reversals in the world won't help against that.  But after some thought, I banked on getting some It's Great to Be Back Here In at the right time and try to win the Foreign Object race.  Plus it helped that I won the die roll and he had enough backstage in play for me to drop Shenanigans.  So out came warfare and we both dropped ECW One Night Stand which resulted in some sillyness.  He took away one of my first turns with Showtime, but I still went first thanks to shenanigans.  Unfortunately even with -4F to my moves, 7 cards in hand and ability I still didn't have a move in hand that I could play other than Sidewalk Slam TB, and I wasn't going to throw that as a move and let Raven's Playground come out.  So I passed and reverse his first Kendo with Don't Be a D-bag to get fortitude and start throwing overhand chairshot. The match was a nailbiter, with the both of us throwing FO's at each other like mad, triggering 2x One Night Stands.  Timing of when to use Restricted Use, It's Great to Be Back Here In, holding certain reversals for Kitchen Sink'd moves, and who could push through the Trash Can were all important aspects of the game, but eventually Rhyno pulled ahead in the Object race and takes the win after shutting down Raven's hand and reversing Chicago Street Fight's ACE.

Rhyno wins via First Blood Match.

Was a LOT of fun.  And big thanks to Sephiroth for running these.

More people should check Lackey out.  And if you need any help setting up Lackey or the Raw Deal plugin on your comp, lemme know!
21  Raw Deal / Raw Deal Online / Re: Lackey League Week 6! on: February 10, 2013, 07:53:57 PM
After Hall's little speech the camera goes to the commentators who start discussing how Hall's appearence is going to impact things around here when the grab their headsets and the camera goes to backstage.  Apparently something is going on back there...

The camera frantically bobs around and travels through hallways until it comes upon a scene of recent carnage.  Drew McIntyre, Jindar Mahal, and Heath Slater are layed out in a backstage hallway.  Slater appears to have been put through a table...food knocked everywhere.  Upon closer inspection, their rockstar attire has been ripped open and each one of them has a letter spraypainted on them.  N.  W.  O.

An official rushes to them to see what happened and leans down to pick a scrap of paper that was over Drew's face.  The camera moves over his shoulder a looks down at the note.

Harsh Drywall it was just a suggestion.  Yeah it is a good idea, but a lot of work to rebuild all new DL files and then a place to host them.

Best bet is to just hit each text spoiler and Ctrl F and type in your superstar.

If you asked me, i would sell it if the price is right. I used to have 4 superior leg work TB and i sold 1 with the full set of Stacy since the price is right, and since i have 3 more, so... Smiley

FTTOM is only usable in YFH. Basically if i am forming benoit/crippler or angle, i wouldnt actually touch that card at all.

/disagree  used to pull FTT off with that one guy we don't talk about quite often.

Yeah, I live in Missouri.  bit hard to play in your group or I'd definately be in for it.  And you are sooo meticulous in your placements, lol.  you consider having quick snap body slam in there for synergy with your atomic power slam?  and chain trait to them?
