Currently playing in the UFS Team Worlds Championships.
Prior to the event the ruling on Darkness Blade Vs. The Red Lotus of the Sun was clarified / finalized.
Red Lotus cannot stop Darkness Blade's E. Because at the resolution of DB's E, there is no committal. It simply creates a continuous ability / game state rule.
This year since Macek defected to the King's Games crew, we are now "Team 'Monkies Flinging Pooh'"

Round 1 - We face Team Tapout, I managed to deck out the 100 card bishamon, but the rest of the team fails.
Round 2 - We are currently flinging pooh at the bye.
There's a total of 17 team, currently planned for 4 rounds, cutting to a top 4.
Corned Beef Sandwich is tasty.

2nd Update 02:45 08/15/09
So far after we scrubbed out with 1-1-2, with our win coming at the hands of the Bye...
I went on to Top 4 Legacy as the Swiss champ, loosing out in first round of the cut.
And some how I manage to go 4-0-3, and make the top 8. I'm giddy and incredulous, and wondering if I'll be forced to recind my membership in team Phail.
Stay Tuned. Oh... Garret made it from Calgary, Danny Fung from Toronto, and Joe Hill from the UK. We have a truly international flavour in the event tomorrow.

2 Olexa (Olexa) vs Ray (Sakura) - Olexa Wins
4 Garret/Duptd (Talbain) Vs. 5 Fred/Proto (Akuma) - Duptd advances
3 Virtual Joe Hill (Donnovan) Vs. 6 Antigoth (Sagat) - Joe moves on in the third game. The matchup was epic and there will be much reporting of it later.
Top 4 as we speak:
1 Bittner Vs. 4 Garret
2 Olexa vs 3 Hill
Also - coming up at 1630 - Goth Vs Goo - The Great Mill Off.

Bittner beat Garret, Hill downed Olexa.
Bittner won in the final.
The ICC was just evacuated for whatever reason, so we just moved the Raw Deal World Championships to the Hyatt.
Going back down for Tornado Tag.

Oh... top 8 prize - complete set of set 10 & 12 in different binders. Set 12 binder looks hella hawt. Plaque for 6th place, a booster of tekken, and 3 prize packs of the new tekken cards. Hawt!

Great Mill-off happened.
Goo was milled. All is right with the universe.
Going with friends for post Gencon Fancy dinner. Will attempt to write more later.�

All 3 people in our vehicle have been hit with a flu bug, and we're really not liking the idea of spending 10 hours in a vehicle today.�
I have had some of the most surreal dreams/whatever you want to call it over the last 18 hours.
Going back to bed... for those in Winnipeg wanting to see me, we won't be back until Thursday now.
