I will say that I'm damned lucky to have a great distributor. My sales rep holds product for me when new stuff comes in (even if I've missed the preorder) and while I don't get M:tG product at "direct from WotC" prices, I get it for about 8 cents per pack cheaper than 3 of my other distributors have it.
