Of all the characters in this set, I'm totally digging R-Truth's concept! I really wish we played Virtual over here. My group insists on playing strictly classic (sigh).

But personally speaking, kudos to you guys! Seeing the things you design and create in the Virtual sets lets me enjoy the creativity and effort that goes into each new card.

Creed is probably going to give me the Third Degree for this when he wakes up, but screw it, let's show off some Truth cards.

Truth has some neutral cards, like this:

And the rest of his set is split between Face:

And Heel:

We hope that you're enjoying these previews, but do remember that everything isn't final. Enjoy!

These cards look amazing!  I just wish I had a bigger play group to fully utilize R-Truth!

Should that not be "Look at your Opponent's hand" not just "Look your opponent's hand"

May I play according to Linda and the brand of executives having the face or heel cards on little jimmy? since that card doesn't say that the opponent searches in your little jimmy deck

Yeah, but by the time you could play Linda and the Board, you'd have moved your Face or Heel cards from the Little Jimmy deck into your Arsenal/Backlash, where they'd be found when searched.  The cards move when you reveal your Superstar.

Correct!  As it says on The Good R-Truth or The Bad R-Truth, you shuffle those cards in when you reveal your Superstar card, so by the time they play According, you get caught.  Card text ftw!  Smiley

What about best laid plans? It says you can't pack if if you are packing face cards, does that include the little jimmy deck?

Yes, you 'pack' the cards so Best Laid Plans would conflict.

Monday just doesn't feel the same without spoiling something (and it may be the 'one good thing' about the Hell Week ahead of me, sigh) so here we go:

We have no plans to make Bo, er, Husky Harris or Mikey Perfect... or the Batista reboot, heh.  But Otunga does have a contribution to New Nexus of his own:

I was waiting for these guys to get spoiled.  Easily one of the decks that has grown the most on me in playtesting.

Grown on?? That's a nice way to put it :p

I took enough beatings from this deck in its initial and ensuing stages to rant for months about that "thought of everything" process  Cool...they're still REALLY good, but hardly as obscene as the Alpha version was for sure.....

Original Nexus was more fun, these guys are the more nasty version for sure.....

I presume they are New Nexus, despite the logo, in much the same way Rob Van Dam's "RVD" logo and Ken Kennedy's "Mr. Kennedy" logo do not change their official name, but someone on the rules/playtesting team will likely come along to confirm or deny soon enough.

"The Nexus" is just the yellow and black box.  "New Nexus" is the CM Punk fist-and-bolt with 'Nexus' underneath.

technically shouldn't Punk ALSO have a [N]exus armband or was it a pic issue again?  do like the ability though...

We have no plans to make Bo, er, Husky Harris or Mikey Perfect... or the Batista reboot, heh.  But Otunga does have a contribution to New Nexus of his own:

the move is actually called The Verdict Spinebuster but yeah... also gotta love how in that pic Goldust just punched the ref from 10' away... lol...

For Punk with an armband?  Picture issues.  Once the WWE stopped doing 'Superstar of the Day' pictures, choices became limited.  Besides, after all the hours of work that it took to pull five different pictures in, size them appropriately, crop out the guys and balance lighting issues as much as possible... its not worth the time to redo it just to find one with an armband.

For 'The Verdict' - I read that on Wikipedia as well, but the issue is.. I've never once heard them call it that on the air.  So that title works as well as any, since they DO call it a 'spinebuster' at least, heh.
