Somewhat.  A lot of the pictures were old, jolly face 'no push' Mark Henry. We found one but ended up using it for something else.

That picture works, but if we find a better pic before release that really captures 'Hall Of Pain' Mark Henry, we'll use that instead.

...Why must you guys insist on making it hard for me to decide who to build first? That ability has some nice utility and I dig Henry in general. Awesome job, guys.

Because the design intent is that everybody is around equal in power so player skill trumps picking the ace out of the deck of Superstar cards? That seems like a good reason to me!

Just gonna say, out of all the previewed superstars, nexus is my favorite! So much versatility in one package!

Well done gentlemen!  Well done indeed.

its not particularly amazing, but its useful and not broken so I can't ask for more

I don't know.  Having the ability to pack three 0 fort reversals that reverse any card except snap suplex sounds pretty powerful to me.

Yeah it's basically like having 6 Revo of the Mind, if I'm remembering correctly that you can pack Revo and Clumsy...

Revolution of the Mind blocks Step Aside, Escape Move, Strangle Hold, Reach for the Ropes, Over Sell Maneuver, Raw and Ready, and No Sell Maneuver. Elbow, Clumsy, and Break the Hold are all A-OK.

I hate to break the flow of the Mark Henry conversation, but I was looking at Alberto Del Rio (and feeling rather stupid), but I don't get his ability.

When you would randomly discards or remove cards from the game, you may choose the same number of cards from the same area instead.

Am I'm completely reading it wrong or does it simply mean the discard/removal is not random, but you choose which cards instead?

That is exactly what it means.  So something like Taunt the Fans, you get your card, then instead of discarding randomly, you choose what you discard.

It also means for reversing with the Volley trait, he can choose what he removes.

Thanks.  It wasn't until I was typing out his ability I realized that I was reading it wrong and figured thats what it had meant all along, but it's nice to have confirmation.

Dumb questions but I have to ask:

With Mark Henry's ability, say my opponent forces me to discard my hand. The draw one comes after that fact, right? Also, does the discard for chain set off his ability?

Yes to both. Anything that you would draw for Ego Boost for will also work with Henry.

I don't remember if this has been covered or not, but is there a list of all 40 superstars that will be appearing in this set?  I thought I saw one somewhere, but I could just be crazy...  Also has there been any discussion about making non revo versions of the extremists?

There was a partial list, the full list wasn't given yet.  On purpose.  Wink

There hasn't been a discussion, exactly, but we already have a non-Revo Tommy Dreamer waiting in the wings, and a Sandman and possibly Sabu as well.  (Past those, pictures become very difficult to come by, since WWECW didn't use much of the original ECW talent for very long)

And hmm, I let Monday come and go without a spoiler.. no wonder it seems so lackluster, haha.  Well, here, we haven't spoiled him yet:

Love the hand size, and the ability looks to have some potential.  Can't wait to see what kind of cards he comes with.  I love building decks with "bruisers" and raising his own damage is fantastic.

On a side note, it's hilarious that you're spoiling this guy on the day the No Holds Barred is out on DVD.  The first time I saw Ezekiel Jackson wrestle was a pre-Raw Dark Match a few years ago.  I remember shouting out that Zeus was making a comeback, and after the match he walked near me and I yelled "Hey Zeus!  It's good to see you back man!"  He turned and gave me one of those threatening looks and feinted like he was gonna smack me.  It was a blast and if I ever meet Ezekiel Jackson I'm going to tell him that story.  Definitely a guy they need to do more with.

You might be thinking of Marcus Cor Von (Monty Brown).

Big Zeke was the last ECW Champion...

Oh, and that ability would be cool for a BASH deck, lol.

Were there certain cards in mind with him that caused you to add the "can't pack pre-matches with "reversed" in the text? Or was it down to him being able to have his first move irreversible without fail, so any more would be overkill?
