<REV> Undertaker

Pre-Match (6)
Ring Psychology: Chest x2
Man of 1000 Moves x2
WWE Tribute to the Troops
Triple H is in My Corner

---> My current fav in Pre-Match construction (REV). RP: Chest x2 is just mass recursion after successfully played moves target:chest. Adding the WWE Tribute to the Troops already puts 1 card in my ring area with target chest. Moving 4 cards per success to the bottom of my arsenal is a good thing after taking the early beating Taker tends to receive. Trips in my corner, well that's all for 1 card.  Grin

Mid-Match (6)
Before This Gets Out of Hand
Keep You Eyes Open or It’s Game Over
Nobody Messes with The McMahons
Body Lock x2
Knife-Edge Chop

Antics (3)
Undertaker’s Icy Stare
The Lord of Darkness
The Phenom’s Streak

---> Of the 3 Antics, the Streak would be the most likely to be removed for something else (Move, Reversal, something). No fun when it hits (first card played), they turn over cards and they stop you with Two for the Show, then I burn 6 with no F to show for it. At least Lord of Darkness gains me the 6F and puts me in line for Red Devil's Snake Eyes.

Maneuvers (27)
Drop Toe Hold x3
Chop to the Chest x3
Gut Punch x3
Scissors Hold x2
Three to Get Ready…
Open-handed Chop x3
Bow & Arrow x2
Gut Buster x2
Deadman’s Big Boot
Rib Breaker x3
Red Devil’s Snake Eyes
Demon of Death Valley Chokeslam
Drive Opponent Through Announcer’s Table x2
Tombstone Piledriver

---> Yeah, the Bow & Arrow card doesn't really fit the target theme, but I like having more recursion (it allows me to shuffle all the cards I have been putting on the bottom for the RP:Chest PM). So if I'm playing a move with target chest or Bow & Arrow, either way, 4 are going back into my arsenal. Rib Breaker, if it goes through (4 on the bottom please!  Smiley) then sets up for Red Devil Snake Eyes, Old School, Tombstone Piledriver or even Three to Get Ready or Scissors Hold (all these maneuvers are target:neck) with Momentum.

Reversals (30)
Masochist x2
Never Think Twice
Second Solution x3
Two for the Show
The End
Try To Get Away x2
You Telegraphed it
Only One Solution x2
Centered x2
Head-to-Toe x2
Lateral x2
Kiss my Ass x2
That’s Extremely Un-Original x2
Old School
Off Your Mark x2
Welcome to My World
Inertia x2
Smacked with the Sledgehammer

So this has been my most recent Taker build. Like most typical REV Taker decks, it's takes an early beating and then just surges mid to late game to destroy. This deck runs very smoothly. Navigation is pretty clear. I'm considering removing the WWE Tribute to the Troops in exchange for Hardcore Hell just to help push through Rib Breaker.

Any thoughts/ideas/comments?

One of the toughest decks to ever grace <Revolution>.  Every Superstar will have a hard time against 'Taker, even Super I-Went-To-Worlds-And-Had-A-Blast Flair.  A deck with mass recur and built-in Ringside Maneuver pick-up is crazy.  I'm glad we haven't seen him around our area.  Thank you Vince, for keeping him busy.

Actually, he's alive and well (and updated) and causing havoc in the So-Cal RD world. You should know this, elceh!

Typical 'Taker.  I thought he was gone, since I haven't seen him at all last year.  All of a sudden, we get closer to Wrestlemania, and he shows up out of nowhere!

Your Undertaker deck is ridiculous already.  A deck full of non-Extremes, awesome Reversals, and great V1 support, like he needed it.  I like the idea for Hardcore Hell, helping to push through Rib Breakers.  Was that the update?

It hasn't been updated with the new addition. The one I ran against you the other day was still pretty much the deck list as shown above. Guess I could give it a try?  Wink

I think I actually bowed down to your REV Christian deck. Seriously though, I was getting bored with that match.  laugh

I think you stated it on another post.  REV Christian is a beast!  His Ability changes my deckbuilding options in Revolution.  Whether I add single cards or devise a strategy for him, he had made me change my REV strategies.  I hope he receives more support!
