Why is the Throwback WWF title (B2B) have the WWE logo plastered all over the card and the title itself? Disappoint...

No really, I kind of am. I hope it's due to a lack of pictures and not just a minor oversight.

I suppose Rebort you could go on a picture hunt of a Title belt and be helpful as opposed to using old memes like Son I am Disappoint.

Not having a High Rez picture of an old ass belt more than 10 years old is really what chaps your ass as opposed to world hunger, war, famine, and the worldwide sex trade?

Or maybe things like this just need to be rolled off your back and like everyone else you could just be thankful for the great work the RDPC team does and really not worry too much about silly things like a picture issue.

What I took from the original poster was that he was complaining as opposed to citing an opinion about how cool it would've been to see the old school WWF belt.

If OP is actually saying that, than I have no problems and I apologize right here and now.

There was no picture of the eagle belt with the WWF logo on it that was good enough to use.

Not even if you used the replica belt pictures, alot of them I beleieve are high res pictures, just wandering if you guys thought of those?

I used the past tense for a reason. I assure you that we scoured the Net to find a high-quality WWF eagle belt picture and it didn't happen.

Ok, let me be 100% clear here.

Finding pictures now doesn't prove anything.

We looked when we made the card, and changing the belt cards is a MAJOR pain because you can't just go print them, they're prize cards. It's going to stay the way that it is, it's unfortunate but there's no good way to change it.

Anyway, its a 'what's done is done' kind of thing, the card's printed as is, and we go forward.

I double-checked after I got a tip from Prong1978 and yes, the current picture for the Throwback WWF Title is the WWF eagle belt. It still has WWE logos on the logo slot above the SSV bin and in the Throwback logo itself, but those are part of the template and the logo, respectively. Can't really change the Throwback logo, and if it had the WWF logo above the SSV bin, you'd expect it to have a WWF back, it'd be weird.

I'm having a hard time letting this one go. WCW, NWO, SNME WWF. I wouldn't expect them to have those logos. I'd expect the same WWE logo on the back of the card to signify that the card is part of the same game for new players and to make it less confusing (just like Lethal poison and Outsider Distraction). Regardless of how cool it'd be. I enjoy the NWO logos CI started using on the before mentioned and the continued work you all have done with the old school WWF and WCW.

I'm not fully up to date on the legal aspects of what pictures you can and cannot use. But if you could/had to use pictures of Sting in TNA for a few of his cards...

EDIT:  To be less 'smug' about it, I guess, I'll put it another way.  One of the first set of Revolution belts used the wrong picture.  Once it went out the door, its too late to fix it.  Well, the Title Belts we made are not downloadable cards, they are prize cards.  So we obviously can't wave a wand and magically change what's already done.

Is it important enough to issue an errata?  Clearly not.  Is it something we would do differently in the future?  Sure!  But can we change it now?  Not really, the cards have been distributed for.. what now, 2 years?  3 years?

So yeah, if you want to get all worked up over it, feel free.  I'll send you a picture of a couple pictures of me so you can cross out the eyes and post 'em on your wall like Mickie James did with Trish, if it'll make you feel better haha.    No, but seriously, its not something we're in a position to change, and there's minimal functionality in it anyway.  (SNME would give it +1 Capacity, that's about it, and there's other cards to give belts slots already)

Those logos never appeared on the back of a card. The old scratch WWF logo did.

BTW, since we are... in the most technical sense... 'just fantasy cards', we can use whatever pictures we want.  I try to keep from using TNA pics, but sometimes we just have to - for example, we FINALLY have a picture for a Frankensteiner to use in the set.    It's TNA, but its the only useable pic I've seen so far.

The issue was simply that we hadn't really implemented the 'Classic WWF' logo at the time, as we do now, so we used the old belt in the new template.  If it was a card in the set, I'd say 'Sure, let's revise it and bring it up-to-date with what we have now'... but since it is a prize card that is already distributed across the country (world?) its kind of cruel to change it now.
