If you didn't catch it today, try to find Man City-Queens Park and watch it. (Context: Man City hasn't won a championship in 44 years, tied for first coming into today with the tiebreaker.)

Highest drama, easily as exciting as any sports event I've seen in my lifetime.

(Yes, including Warren Morris in 1996, Joe Carter in 1994, Saints-Colts Super Bowl, etc...)

well giving up 6 goals at home and that loss to Newcastle really screwed us out of what was a month ago a pretty much clinched Premier League Title, congrats to the Blues, they deserve it after waiting almost 50 years for this day.

Now I'm hoping that Bayern Munich wins next Saturday over Chelsea in the Champions League final. If that happens, Tottenham Hotspur (the club I root for) gets into the Champions League next season. Otherwise, it's the Europa league for Spurs.

It gets better; with 2nd placed Man U willing their game, Man City needed to win their match to get the title and after trailing 1-2, they scored twice in stoppage time to win 3-2

riveting stuff

A friend of mine at work (Arsenal supporter, damn him) knew about the result but didn't know the context in which it happened. All I told him was "You need to watch it. If I told you right now what happened, you wouldn't believe me."

After I got home, he texted me this message: "I JUST WATCHED A MIRACLE!"

There is also another miracle happening at the same time but nobody talks about because Man City winning is way too epic; Mark Hughes and his QPR survived the relegation even they lost just because of Bolton couldn't beat Stoke.

Anyway, this is at the same level of epicness as Man Utd beating Bayern Munich in the extra time after trailing 0-1 to win 2-1 to win UEFA Champions League in 1999.

My Greek buddy Chris mentioned that to me, saying it was the only thing comparable to the finish this year. But in his opinion, the finish this weekend was better than that just because of the context of Man City ending their title drought in such dramatic fashion.

EDIT: And on that note, I think Ian Darke has taken my top spot for top play-by-play man for ANY sport.
