Who's watching? Not me. Not to be negative, but I REALLY dislike WWE theme PPVs. HIAC, TLC, Extreme Rules, I feel it takes away from the significance of the matches by having 3-4 in one night. Also, most of the matches are Wrestlemania rematches, so I can't justify spending $50, just to see Lesnar/Cena. If I still lived near my buddies, sure I'd pitch in $5 to see it and hang out.

Anyways, discussion thread now.

Miz lost to Santino in the YouTube pre-show. Makes me a sad panda, I really like Miz and hope that things turn around really, really soon.

Unfortunately, with Lesnar back, and Rock lingering around, and the return of Del Rio ... it seems like a bunch of the upper-mid-card guys like Miz and Ziggler get pushed back down to the mid-card.

Makes me VERY glad, sad as this is to say, that Mysterio is suspended again.  I've watched him for years, he's pretty much the same guy, I'd really like to see him just hang it up or be a special attraction like Undertaker, so the new up-and-comers don't get pushed down even farther.

Anyway, that off my chest, it seems like a pretty good show on paper.  If I was the PPV-buying kind of guy, I'd consider it (especially since I didn't see Mania) but even if I wanted to, its not in the budget.

However, looking forward to reading the results, especially the Brock match to see where they go with it.

BTW, here's the results so far:

Santino defeats Miz to retain the U.S. Title (Pre-show Match)
Orton beats Kane in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
Brodus Clay beats Ziggler in an impromptu match
Cody Rhodes defeats Big Show in a Tables match to become the NEW Intercontinental Champion!

aaaaaand Ry-Berg goes thru 2 jobbers at the same time and pins both in like 45 seconds... what's next... 4 jobbers in the ring at the next SD Tappings and he wins in 1 minute, then eventually by summerslam they have 50 guys in the ring and he beats all of them in 5 minutes... ... ... yeah...

haha, Remember when Cena took on an entire brand. Your thinking is not far off.

After having a friend convince me to stream and chat, Im watching the PPV. Digging Jericho/Punks attire for the street fight.

been streaming it since the beginning.  Seamus v Bryan was a really good match. The ending was boring in my opinion but the psychology was solid and the wrestling was good. it was the match of the PPV so far. Top ten ever..... heck no. Match of the year so far.... Maybe I didn't see mania so can't say for certain.

Punk Retains, Layla El Returns and defeats Nikki in about 6 minutes, and Lesnar busts Cena open in about 50 seconds... hmm how much says Nikki gets a rematch tommorrow, loses then gets squashed by Kharma after the end of that match...

I enjoyed Cena/Lesnar more than Cena/Rock...it may have been because Im a sucker for extreme matches, but I found it very enjoyable.

Cena ends the show saying he's taking a vacation - well deserved. Wrestlers need to do this more often, not only for their bodies, but it keeps content fresh and makes room for new stars to rise!

Stupid ending to the lesner cena match. Just like last years ER PPV Cena receives the equivalent of Assault and throws maybe 5 moves all match and wins. Promo at the end was puzzling as Cena was talking about being sent home by his bosses. Not that he said anything outlandish like punk. Not sure what he was talking about.

hopefully they go with an idea being pitched around as having an OFF SEASON for certain wrestlers so they can heal and keep their characters fresh... and as for why he'd be "Fired" it's Johnny Ace he "works for" so figure it out... he can find ANY reason to fire him but not Lesnar because Lesnar is "His boy" odd that Lesnar basically killed Josh Matthews last week on SD... and got nothing for doing that yet Sheamus gets a 500K fine and probation... bleh... consistancy here...

All in all a good show. I do hope Cena is taking a vacation, if for no other reason then to have a few weeks of him not having either matches that he pretty obviously was told to throw or just throwing 3 moves in 45 seconds after just being beat up for 10 minutes and winning. I'm kinda interested to see where they go with some of the things they are doing and to find out tomorrow what HHH and Johnny Ace were talking about.

All I know is Show's expression after his foot tapped and broke the table was AMAZING. Now I just gotta splice that with him screaming Jesus from Chamber and I'm gold.

I am really thinking they rushed the finish due to cena's arm or something.

However, I could not believe how stiff Lesnar was working. Whether or not that was intentional, it really wasn't a match at all, just a beating for 15 minutes then a typical Cena finish. I would have preferred some back and forth of course, but with how sudden the ending was, it will have people crying foul for a long time to come.

Hopefully we get some kind of light shed on wtf just happened, and someone reminds lesnar to pull his punches. This is TV-PG after all, hah!

Also; whether the injury is legit or not, what the hell are they going to do with Lesnar now? Is this Warrior syndrome where you start/return with the top talent and just kind of linger there beating up people randomly?

Pretty much HHH would have to be the next in line for Lensar since he is one of the few that have any kind of star power close to Cena. Other than that, Punk? Shaemus? Orton? Del Rio? None of these guys have been built up in recent times to inspire any kind of drama with someone like Lesnar.

Of course they could just let him wail on ryback for a while, that would entertain me.
