I'd wager money on creative not being sure what they wanted to do, so they told Cena to cut a promo after the match about how extreme it was and how he was leaving, but didn't really give him any direction specifically, so that's why we got the promo we did, which did seem oddly rambling and incoherent for Cena.

Just my musings, not based on any evidence.

But the problem is Cena didn't leave, at least not yet, so what really was the point of the promo? It had nothing to do with the match that just took place. I was at the event and to me it seemed like one of those after they go off the air type of promos. I was surprised when I found out that was on the PPV. Maybe they messed up and kept the PPV on the air when they were suppose to stop? When they did fade to black it was awkward. It seemed like Cole didn't really know what to say and it was something like "Thanks for joining us tonight. So long from the Allstate arena in Chicago, good night". How often do they end a show like that?

Lest we forget, just recently, WWE had their commentary cut all togeather from the ending of a couple Raws when NEXUS took over. Say what you will, but the WWE has done agreat job at keeping me guessing in recent years: maybe this is just another example.

Anyway, regardless of the true nature of Cena's promo, i still think it can be worked into a storyline. The way i look at it, it just gives more fuel to the fire of Cena vs Brock. Cena said he's beat up and hurt and needs time off, so hes taking it. Brock could basically call the bluff and say nice try, but you werent going anywhere until i rendered you useless.
Kind of like Cena would NEVER had taken time off or made that speech if Brock didnt beat the crap out of him. And somebody mentioned this already, but that victory was not a typical cena victory. I consider it VERY flukey, and definatley something to further the feud on.

This whole series of events is kind of strange, but i think it can be worked around. and again, maybe this was even planned.

So negative cowbell for me, because i did NOT watch all of raw monday, so basically i was making my points having seen about 20 minutes of the show. Ima bad boy.

With that said, and myself a little better informed now, i guess i agree with everyone else and have to say im totally at a loss for whats gonna happen to Brock, or how to make him look legit right now.

I finally watched Raw last night, and I'm totally stumped by what they are doing. It's not OMG what will happen next stumped, it's more like X-Pac stumped. :/
