Joker, I shall use this thread to bridge over to one I will be making in a little while, because I just realized I haven't done the TCO ROYAL RUMBLE yet!  Everybody interested throws their names in, I divy up numbers, and the winner not only gets bragging rights for a year, but there will also actually be a prize!!  Look for details soon.

predictions:

us title match-cesaro retains over miz's inability to do a figure 4.
tag titles- rhodes scholars finally wins and hopefully dragon fire will break up. i like them and all, but they're not really helping the tag division.
world title- del rio retains over big show.
wwe title- punk over rock. clean.
rumble- unfortunately, i see sheamus or orton tossing ziggler(#1) over to win.

2nd Annual TCO Royal Rumble thread up.  But while I'm here, may as well throw down my predictions.

Cesaro retaining
(sadly) Rhodes Scholars winning
Big Show regaining
Rumble winner:  (sigh)...John Cena
Rock vs CM Punk

...now this is where it gets good.

Rock vs CM Punk:  CM Punk retains.  With help from Maddox.  This leads to Elimination Chamber, with Punk/Rock/Ryback/D-Bry/Ziggler/Kane  (the last three aren't really important)  What IS important is Rock going over Punk.  Sure, it gives us Rock/Cena II at WrestleMania, but it ALSO gives Punk a reason to play the "Rematch Clause" card, making it Rock/Cena/Punk at Mania.  Sure, Cena wins, blah blah blah, but at least it isn't a rehash of last year's match.

I do this with no intention of being right; if I didn't want to do something a bit different, I'd just copy gxsliver's post.

Miz over Cesaro via disqualification, Cesaro retains.
Rhodes Scholars over Anger Management due to botched interference from Dr. Shelby
Del Rio over Big Show, Show gets up pissed, takes out Del Rio, Ziggler cashes in.
Punky's on a roll. Punk over Rock, after the Shield beats the hell out of the Rock before the match even begins. It's not interference if it's not during the match.
Rumble winner: World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, just so they can freak out over what the hell happens when a champion wins the Rumble.

I know some people might freak out over some of these calls, but I'm going to stand by them.

Miz vs. Claudio - Claudio wins clean in the pre-show, where few will watch so miz's momentum isn't hurt.

Kane/AmDrag vs. Rhodes/Sandow - They graduated from anger management, it's time for them to graduated from being tag team champions.  the challengers get the belts.

Dos Caras jr. vs. The Giant - Too much has been put into the face turn of the Mexican Aristocrat for them to squander it away only a few weeks later.  The Champ retains and gets credibility.

Punk vs. Rock - Making a serious controversial call here, but Punk retains over Rock.  It sure won't be clean, but punk hasn't won clean in months.  The best in the would continues to brags about it and his belt after the Rumble.

Royal Rumble - Considering all the possibilities, only a small list stands out as potential winners.  A surprise return by Mark Henry or Christian could happen, but I don't see it happening.  Instead, I'm calling for my fellow Ohioian, one Mike Mizanin, to get a late entry and win the rumble.

Agreed, that's why I see Cena winning Elim. Chamber to get a shot at Rock's title, setting up Cena/Rock II.  To do that, Rock beats Punk at Rumble... sighs.

I also think Ziggler shines but doesn't win, but either Sheamus or Orton wins the Rumble (the other one winning SD EC).  Probably Sheamus.

Big Show doesn't gain anything by winning the belt back, so ADR keeps it.

Cesaro / Miz - eh, this could go either way.  I'll go with Miz, since he just got the Figure Four and all that.

Rhodes Scholars haven't really won anything lately, I think they'll just leave the belts on Team Hell No.

...for the record, I think all of the above sounds pretty boring, but they're in Road To Wrestlemania mode, which means certain things have to happen.  It's not what I want to see, just how I figure the WWE will book it.

Last year both Chamber matches were for the titles. So that means Cena will probably win the Rumble.  Undecided

Why not?  Have him enter 6th, with maybe Punk and D-Bry left.  He doesn't have to take any Chamber bumps, works a normal shortened match, and takes the belt.

Sure, I HATE HATE HATE HATE the idea, but it's slightly better than him beating Punk 1-on-1.  Give Punk that big win.

I fully expect this but i think he'll work work.  Punk will end up first in the chamber and last awhile until all 6 men are in the chamber where the other 5 gang up on Punk and eliminate him.  thus giving him i was screwed and it took 5 guys at once to end my reign yadda yadda

i wonder... what if after rocky loses to punk, he shows up in the rumble? like #28 or 29? and then wins? would the eruption of cheers be so loud that the entire state of arizona crumbles from the vibration? which would be fine, because screw arizona.

I heard Vince wants Rock vs Cena II so I'm expecting it to be super predictable tonight unfortunately. If that's how it's going to turn out I think this might be the first time in 15 years I won't be buying or going to WM.
