How to play

Somewhere in the wild,
two twins
the 2nd holding onto the 1st
come as a pair, leave as a Squad

Clue #1: This riddle references TWO cards that are somehow weakly linked. (Therefore making line 2 a throwaway)
Clue #2: Cards are Non virtual (again Tongue)
Clue #3: One of the lines refer to the titles of both cards and another refers to their effects (pretty much giving it away here :O)
Clue #4: The 3rd line refers to the fact that one of the cards fetches the other (cracked by Philippine Milkfish)
Clue #5: Neither of the two cards are superstar specific
Clue #6: The 2nd card in this equation is not a card that is traditionally played after the 1st. It is perfectly happy being played on its own! (therefore its not maintain hold, apply illegal leverage etc etc). In other words, both cards are healthy strong individuals who just happened to be thrown together for this
Clue #7: While the squad in line 4 is indeed the Spirit Squad, it has more bearing on them as a group and not individually

Hmm, the 2nd line about the two twins got me thinking of the Bashams or the Bellas. But I doubt the Bellas made it in time for an RDC card picture.

The 4th line seems to refer to the Spirit Squad though.

I dunno, I'm drawing a blank.

they are not twins in a figurative sense, just that the 2 cards are related somehow

From what I remember, Spirit Squad pics were prominent in GAB and Revo 1. I'll take a guess and say it's GAB.

As for cards with the Spirit Squad in the pic, I can think of Give me an S..., Luck of the Draw, and S-P-I-R-I-T-S-Q-U-A-D … SPIRIT SQUAD!

But for related cards, I'd have to say Give me an S and S-P-etc...

The 2nd holding on to the 1st refers to how the ACE on S-P.. fetches Give me an S...

another good example of 2 related cards, except how does the 1st line fit into this again?

btw u solved the meaning of the 3rd line, except the model answer aren't the 2 cards you named. Also I wouldn't make the answer(s) a Spirit Squad related card coz it will be too easy..would I?

Somewhere in the wild = Samoa seems to be qualify as "wild," heck they even had a tag team with that name back in the day...

there's just 2 things that are off the mark with your answer; one of the lines is meant to refer to the titles of both cards (clue #3) and the Spirit Squad reference has a specific meaning. Granted they got 'discarded' to OVW and then 4/5 of them got released but what I'm referring to is actually infinitely more simplistic Grin

Not sure what the first card is but the second is maintain hold (tb) due to the fact that it holds onto the first and it's multi. So I would assume the first is a multi submission that searches for maintain.

Something to do with Nick Nemeth/Nicky/Dolph Ziggler, I believe. Came in as a "pair" with Kerwin White/Chavo Guerrero, then left with the rest of the Spirit Squad when they got shipped by DX back to OVW.

Now to find cards with pictures of Nicky...

Without considering the thought in my previous post, my guess would have been The SECOND Solution and ONE Solution Revolution, with the first solution being a "hold"...

But it has no relation to Ziggler, who I believe is a big part of the clue.
